|  | WWE Survivor Series!!! The Classic Event Returns!!

A video package is shown hyping up the night... then off goes the firework display and we are live for Survivor Series! Tonight... careers... titles... and the future of this company is on the line! 2 Classic Elimination Matches along with 3 Championship matches! This night promises to be memorable!! I know let's hit the ring... It's Tag Title Action!!
World Tag Team Championship
Big Show and “Rowdy” Roddy Piper vs. Ted DiBiase and Cody Rhodes
Big Show and Rhodes start it off although the crowd is red hot for Piper. Rhodes attempts some kicks to Big Show but he merely gets shoved down to the mat! Big Show picks up Rhodes again and tosses him to the opposite side of the ring where he gets him into the corner and starts hitting him with chops! Big Show shushes the crowd and hits a chop to the chest of Rhodes! Rhodes then falls to the mat and Show makes the tag to Piper! Piper comes in to a huge eruption and begins stomping on Rhodes! He gets Rhodes to his feet, runs him into the ropes and hits a clothesline! Piper awaits for Rhodes to get back to a knee and once he does he applies the Sleeper! Rhodes quickly breaks free and hits a DDT out of nowhere! Rhodes crawls over and makes the tag to DiBiase! DiBiase comes in and hits a couple knee drops to Piper then poses to the crowd to loud boos. DiBiase picks up Piper and lifts him up for a vertical suplex then drops him on the mat! DiBiase then applies a Sleeper hold to Piper which fills the audience with boos. Piper reaches around but isn’t anywhere near the ropes! Piper starts to fade away as the ref begins to check him! Big Show comes running into the ring but the ref says No and yells at him to leave. While the ref is distracted Rhodes comes in and starts kicking on Piper while DiBiase still has that sleeper applied! The ref runs over to check Piper… he lifts his arm up once… and it drops. The ref lifts up in a second time… and it drops. The ref lifts it for the third time… and it stays up! Piper starts to fight his way out and is able to get to a knee! Piper then powers himself up and his a backsuplex on DiBiase! Piper crawls and crawls over to the ropes and gets the tag! Here comes Big Show!!! Big Show punches down DiBiase! Then here comes Rhodes flying from the top but Big Show catches him and slams him to the mat! DiBiase comes from behind again but Big Show pushes him down but he hits the referee on the way down! Rhodes is stirring on the outside and grabs a chair! He comes in the ring and goes to nail Big Show but Piper is right there and he puts on the sleeper hold!!! Rhodes is trying to fight out but is losing it! Rhodes is out on his feet and Piper releases the hold and pushes Rhodes into Big Show! Big Show grabs him by the neck and lifts him up for a huge chokeslam!! Cover… the ref crawls over………1……………2………………….3!! New Tag Team Champions!! Piper and Big Show have done it!! The ref hands them the belts as Big Show lifts Piper on his shoulders! Both them hold the belts high in the air! What a way to kick it off tonight!
We go backstage and Josh Matthews is standing by with Teddy Long!
Matthews: Well Teddy.. in just a few moments your Survivor Series team will be facing Bischoff’s team. And the future of Smackdown is on the line!
Long: Holla Holla! You bet the future of Smackdown is on the line! And I couldn’t be more confident with my team! I am so confident… that I will not even be at ringside tonight! I’m leaving it all up to them and I promise they won’t disappoint!
Coming up next it is the first of two Classic Survivor Series Elimination matches!!! This one has the battle of 2 GMs! Who will leave Survivor Series having control over Smackdown??
Teddy Long’s Team vs. Eric Bischoff’s Team
Goldberg, Jeff Hardy, CM Punk, Carlito, and Christian vs. Batista, Triple H, JBL, Jericho and Scott Hall
Jeff Hardy starts this one off against Batista! We will have to see if Batista can lead Bischoff’s team to a victory, if he does, he gets an opportunity at the World title! Hardy locks up with him with Batista getting the upper hand and putting Jeff in a head lock! Batista throws Jeff into the ropes and Jeff fires back with a clothesline that takes the animal down! Jeff tags to Carlito who spring boards off the top but gets caught in a Batista spinebuster! Batista goes over and stares into the eyes of Triple H looking furious but then makes the tag to him. Triple H comes in the ring, kicks Carlito in the gut and nails the Pedigree! Triple H covers him….1……..2……..No! Goldberg breaks up the pin! The referee gets mad at Goldberg and so does Triple H who shoves the ref out of the way and gets in the face of Goldberg! Goldberg just smiles at Triple H and gets back out of the ring! Carlito begins to make it to his feet again and Triple H kicks him in the gut and goes for another Pedigree and connects again! Triple H covers and this time gets the pinfall on Carlito!
Triple H gets up and taunts the next person to come in the ring… Goldberg starts making his way in and Triple H backs up and Hall makes the tag to him! Scott Hall comes in and runs right at Goldberg and starts laying rights and lefts on him! Goldberg hoists Hall on his shoulders then slams him to the mat!!! Goldberg roars to the crowd and goes over and makes the tag to Jeff Hardy! Hardy goes up top and hits the swanton on Scott Hall! Cover….1………..2………….3!! Scott Hall is gone from the match and just like that we are even! JBL now makes his way into the ring and points at CM Punk! Jeff turns around and tags him in! Punk and JBL lock up and JBL his some clubs to the back of Punk! JBL lifts him up and hits a fallaway slam to him! JBL goes over to the corner and sets up for a clothesline! JBL runs at him but Punk out of nowhere picks him up and hits the GTS!!! Cover…1…….2………….3!! JBL is gone!! Teddy Long’s team is now leading this match!! Bischoff is completely livid on the outside of the ring!
Goldberg now steps into the ring as does Jericho! Jericho gets some quick blows in on Goldberg and hits a neckbreaker! Jericho stands up and taunts the crowd but receive a huge amount of boos. Jericho walks over to Goldberg looking to apply the Walls but Goldberg tosses him off of him! Jericho then springboards off the ropes and hits a back elbow on Goldberg! Jericho again gets to his feet and taunts the crowd then makes the tag to Batista. Batista comes in and looks down at Goldberg but doesn’t touch him. Batista takes a few steps back from him. Bischoff is on the outside of the ring shouting: “What are you doing Batista??!! We had a deal!!! Pin him!!!!”
Batista looks down once again at Bischoff then turns around and kicks Goldberg in the gut but then makes the tag back in to Jericho! Jericho turns and looks at Batista: “I knew you didn’t have the balls to do that” Jericho says. Jericho turns around and gets nailed with a huge spear!!! Goldberg roars to the crowd and then makes the tag into Christian! Christian comes in and locks the arms of Jericho and nails the kill switch! Cover…..1……..2……….3!!! Jericho is gone!!! Bischoff’s team is down to only two men! Batista and Triple H!
Triple H then comes running in the ring and clotheslines Christian in the back of the head! Triple H tosses him into the ropes and nails a spinebuster!! Cover…..1………2……….3! And just like that Christian is gone!
Hardy hops over the top rope and immediately goes after Triple H and is getting the upper hand! Hardy hits a reverse drop kick that sends Triple H into the ropes and Jeff Hardy catches him on the way back and nails the twist of fate!! The fans go crazy as Jeff Hardy covers him..1………..2………….No! The Game just gets the shoulder up! As Bischoff almost has a heart attack on the outside. Batista gets a blind tag to Triple H then heads over to Hardy and gives him a couple blows to the back! He kicks him in the gut, sticks him between his legs, hoists him up and nails a Batista Bomb! 1……2……….3! Just like that Hardy is gone! Batista goes over and tags Triple H back in who can barely stand. Goldberg enters next and as Triple H gets up he is nailed with a spear!! The fans go nuts again as Bischoff is livid on the outside! Batista then runs in the ring and takes down Goldberg with a spear! In comes Punk and he starts battling with Batista! It looks like Batista is 100% with Bischoff tonight! Bischoff smiles and goes under the ring and pulls out the sledgehammer!!! Bischoff tosses it into the ring and then gets up and starts distracting the referee! Triple H picks up the hammer and as Goldberg approaches him he decks him in the jaw with it!! Goldberg comes down and Triple H makes the cover…1……..2…….3!! Goldberg is gone!! Batista then walks over to Triple H and looks shocked! We can hear Batista say “You said you wouldn’t do that!” Triple H smiles then shrugs at Batista! Batista turns around to walk away but turns right back around and nails a spinebuster on Triple H!!! Bischoff is livid!!!! Batista spits down on Triple H then begins to walk out of the ring!! Bischoff runs up to Batista as he is walking away!! “What the hell are you doing?? “Get back in that ring!!!”
Batista just keeps on walking away. Back in the ring Punk crawls over and covers Triple H…1………2…………No!!! Triple H gets the shoulder up! Punk picks up Triple H to a vertical base. He lifts up Triple H on his shoulders for the GTS and in the posess blinds the referee via Triple H’s foot! Triple H slides out and hits a low blow undetected by the ref! Triple H loads up Punk and nails the Pedigree!!! Cover…. the ref quickly regains sight and runs over……..1……………2………………….3!!!! It’s over! I can’t believe it!! Eric Bischoff’s team has won at Survivor Series!! Eric Bischoff is 100% officially the GM of Smackdown. Bischoff runs back in the ring and celebrates with Triple H! Triple H holds the back of his head and stares down at the entrance way furious at Batista. Bischoff though does not seem to care as he continues to lift his hands in the air!
We go backstage and Todd Grisham is standing by with Brock Lesnar!
Todd: Well Brock… in only moments you are going head to head against the guy you screwed out of his Cyber Sunday championship match… Booker T.
Lesnar: Booker just happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time! It could have been anybody and I would have beat the hell out of them! Why? because I am deserving of the WWE title!
Todd: With all due respect Brock you say you deserve the belt but you got your match and you could not defeat Shawn Michaels..
Lesnar: Don’t Test Me Todd!! After I beat Booker tonight I will be champion again!! Mark my words!
Well it is time for Booker T to battle Brock Lesnar!!
Booker T makes his way to the ring with a nice ovation… if it wasn’t for Lesnar… Booker might have been defending the WWE Title tonight! Out next comes Lesnar to a small ovation and we get set for this match that looks to be a dandy!
Brock Lesnar vs. Booker T
Both men get nose to nose and the referee rings the bell! They lock up and Lesnar pushes Booker into the corner! Lesnar laughs as Booker locks up again… this time Booker pushes Lesnar off! Lesnar looks furious as he runs at Booker but Booker hits some right hands on him! Booker tosses him into the ropes and hits a side kick! Lesnar quickly rolls out of the ring and holds his head. Lesnar looks completely surprised. Booker gets the crowd going wild as Lesnar slowly gets back in the ring. The 2 men lock up again and this time Lesnar presses Booker over his head and hits a belly to belly! This time Lesnar nips up and taunts Booker with his “5 time” pose. Lesnar picks up Booker but Booker punches him in the gut and begins giving him chops to the chest! Chop! Right hand! Chop! Right hand! Chop! Right hand! Lesnar’s chest is swelled up as once again he bails out of the ring! This time Booker does not wait… Booker runs into the ropes and suicide dives over the rope and takes down Lesnar!! Incredible!! Both men are down as the referee starts up his count. Booker begins to stir and picks up Lesnar and tosses him into the barricade! Booker then tosses him over toward the announce tables and begins pounding him over there!! Booker gets the crowd on their feet! He turns around and lifts his hands up in their! When Booker turns back around Lesnar lays him out with a chair shot!!! The ref calls for the bell!! Boos fill the arena as Booker falls to the floor! Lesnar has a frustrated look on his face again as he takes the chair to hit Booker again but the ref grabs it out of his hands! Lesnar pushes the ref over and turns back around and gets kicked below the belt by Booker! Booker hooks Lesnar’s arm and lifts him up and nails the Bookend on him through the announce table!!
Booker T’s music hits and Booker T has dominated Lesnar so much tonight that he had to go and get himself DQed because he didn’t think he could win this one tonight! What a shocker!! This one is definitely not over!
We go backstage and Triple H is in Eric Bischoff’s office…
Bischoff: This is great!!! This is fantastic! I won tonight! I can’t believe this!
Triple H: Look Eric! You may have won but what about Batista??! He screwed me in that match!
*Batista walks in on the scene*
Batista: Did I just hear my name mentioned in here?
Triple H: As a matter of fact you did!! What the hell were you doing??
Bischoff: Whoa! Whoa! Gentlemen ok ok!
Batista: The reason I did that was because before the match you told me there would be no foul play in this match! So if you want to play dirty… I wanted to as well! Now Game my beef is not with you anymore…. its with you Eric. I led your team to victory… you are still GM of Smackdown… so am I officially #1 Contender now?
Triple H: You don’t deserve anything Batista! Eric was about to make me #1 Contender!!
Bischoff: Actually… as GM of Smackdown… I have to be fair… and I have to hold up my end of the deal. Batista was the leader of our group… although he did cheat us… we won… and that was the deal. Batista… you are officially #1 Contender for the World Heavyweight Championship.
Batista: That’s what I like to hear! Now its time to settle the score….
*Batista walks away*
Triple H: Eric!!! What about me?? I led your team to victory tonight! This is how you repay me!
Bischoff: You shouldn’t be upset with me Triple H… you shouldn’t be upset with Batista… neither of us are the real reason you aren’t champion right now. Think about that… tonight is the night to get even.
A video package is shown of the RVD and Edge feud and showing where Edge interfered and made RVD win the championship…
The following contest is scheduled for one fall and it is for the World Heavyweight Championship……….
World Heavyweight Championship
Rob Van Dam (c) vs. Edge
RVD and Edge locked up and Edge grabbed a side headlock into a hammerlock and then a go behind takedown. Edge mocked RVD and RVD seemed amused. They locked up again and Edge backed RVD to the corner and then nailed a shot to the gut. RVD came back with a monkey flip but Edge landed on his feet but then RVD with a nice roll up for two and Edge looks shocked. Another lock up and Edge again backed RVD to the corner but he missed a cheap shot and then RVD nailed some right hands. Edge with an up and under in the corner and went for a cross body from the middle rope but RVD moved and then nailed a standing moonsault for two. RVD with a step through into a spin kick and went for Rolling Thunder but Edge bailed to the outside. RVD hit a baseball slide sending Edge into the barricade, and then hit a moonsault off the barricade onto Edge. RVD sent Edge back into the ring and then Lita grabbed the ankle of RVD but he kicked her off. Edge nailed RVD on the apron and then hit a beautiful sunset flip powerbomb over the ropes to the floor. Back inside and Edge got a near fall. Edge nailed a forearm in the corner, and then another one. Edge whipped RVD hard to the opposing corner. RVD began to fight back but then Edge raked the eyes. Edge locked in a surfboard but RVD escaped. RVD sent Edge to the ropes but Edge reversed and then RVD back dropped Edge to the apron. RVD then hit a running cross body onto Edge and both men crashed to the floor. RVD went for the spinning leg drop onto Edge on the barricade but Edge moved. Edge sent RVD back inside for a two count. Edge tossed RVD to the outside and then followed out and nailed a powerbomb onto RVD into the barricade! Edge sent RVD back into the ring and covered for a near fall. Edge places RVD in a headlock but RVD fought out with knees to the head of Edge and then the two traded right hands and then RVD ran into a boot by Edge. Edge sent RVD to the corner but ate a boot and then RVD went for the Tornado DDT but Edge blocked. RVD hit a kick in the corner and then went to the middle rope and hit a side kick. RVD hit a clothesline, and then another, followed by a backdrop. RVD hit a nice German with a bridge for a near fall. RVD with a spin kick and then went for Rolling Thunder but ran into a powerslam for a near fall for Edge. RVD pulled himself up in the corner and then Edge sent him to the opposite corner and charged in but ate an elbow. RVD hit a side kick from the top and then went for the Five Star but Edge got up before RVD could nail it. RVD ran down and hit a rolling thunder to the back of Edge. RVD with a split legged moonsault for a near fall. RVD went for a spin kick but Edge moved and RVD nailed the referee, Edge hits the Edgecution but now he can’t make the cover… and even if he does the referee is out cold! Edge rolls RVD over and gets an arm on him but there is no ref to count! Edge smacks his fist on the mat and gets to his feet.
*Batista’s music hits*
Batista comes running to the ring with a huge ovation! Edge’s eyes get huge as he sees him coming! Batista slides in the ring and Edge quickly tries to clothesline him but Batista ducks and kicks Edge in the gut! Batista sets him up and BAM! Batista bomb!!!! Batista Bomb on Edge! Batista exits the ring as RVD begins to stir! RVD makes it to his feet and sees Edge layed out! RVD hops on the top rope and leaps! 5 Star Frog Splash connects!! RVD covers Edge and the ref slowly crawls over………1………………………2……………………………3!!! Rob Van Dam retains the title!! Batista has settled the score on Edge tonight! But most importantly the underdog RVD has retained his championship here tonight! Unbelievable!!
Well folks… coming up next is our final Elimination match of the night! This match is for full control over Raw! If Foley’s team wins… he will own the Raw Brand and will be able to make any decisions he wants without Vince’s approval! If McMahon wins he will continue to own it and Mick Foley will be terminated for the WWE.
Team Foley
Mick Foley, John Cena, Bobby Lashley, Kevin Nash, and “Macho Man” Randy Savage
vs.
Team McMahon
Mr. McMahon, Undertaker, Randy Orton, Kane, and Umaga
Foley is first in the ring to start things off and Undertaker is chosen to be in first for McMahon’s team. Foley gets some rights in on Taker but he over powers Foley and gives him a huge boot to the face! Taker starts choking Foley in the corner and then stomps on him! Undertaker goes over and makes the tag into Kane. Kane comes in and sticks his foot right into the face of Foley! He tosses Foley in the ropes and catches him by the throat and nails a huge chokeslam! McMahon’s team is dismantling Foley! This is almost sickening to watch! Kane goes over and makes the tag to Umaga! Umaga comes in and drags Foley over to the corner and then runs at him from the other corner and hits a butt smash in the corner! Umaga tags in Orton! Orton comes in and gets Foley to his feet then nails an RKO!! Finally Orton goes to the corner and tags in McMahon! McMahon comes in with a huge smile on his face and covers Foley……1……………..2……………..3!! Mick Foley has been eliminated! And at the rate this is going this will be the last time we ever see Mick Foley! This team looks to be dominant!
Kevin Nash steps in the ring and Vince quickly makes the tag into Orton who walks in and gets nose to nose with Nash. Orton quickly slaps Nash in the face and gets in a couple right hands! Orton tosses Nash into the ropes but Nash ducks Orton’s clothesline and hits a big boot!!! Nash puts his straps down and sets up for the Jackknife! Suddenly here comes Vince into the ring who clubs Nash in the back! Nash turns around and looks dead into the eyes of McMahon! Nash goes for a right hand but Vince falls to the mat before he can! Nash turns around and gets planted with an RKO!! Cover……1…………2…………..3!! Kevin Nash is gone!!
Orton quickly goes over to the corner and makes the tag to Umaga! Umaga comes in and Lashley does on the other end! Umaga and Lashley collide with one another but neither of them budge! Umage then hits an upper cut to Lashley to send him to the mat! Umaga picks him up and hits a samoan drop and tags in Kane! Kane comes in and kicks Lashley in the corner. Kane tosses Lashley into the ropes and hits a sidewalk slam! Kane motions that this is the end of Lashley as he slaps his hand around Lashley’s neck! He lifts him up but Lashley gets out of it and pushes Kane into the corner. Lashley then turns around and makes the tag into Cena!! Cena comes in and hits a shoulder tackle to Kane! Kane flops on the mat. Kane quickly gets back up but Cena hits him with a modified powerslam! Cena runs in the ropes and nails the 5 Knuckle Shuffle! Kane makes his way up but Cena quickly grabs him, hoists him up, and nails the Attitude Adjustment! Cover….1………..2……………3!! Kane is gone from Team McMahon!!! Mr. McMahon is livid on the apron of the ring and orders Undertaker to enter!
Undertaker gets in and this looks to be an unbelievable match up! Undertaker and Cena! Cena then takes 2 steps back and makes the tag to Savage! Savage hops in the ring all ready to take on Undertaker! Undertaker reaches back and tags in Umaga! Umaga runs in at Savage but Savage hits a drop toe hold and Umaga hits the turnbuckle hard! Umaga quickly gets to his feet but Savage hits the chart buster on him! Savage takes in Lashley who runs down Umaga with a spear!! Tag back in to Savage who soars off the top rope and hits the Flying Elbow! Cover on Umaga…..1…………..2……………..3!! Umaga is gone!! Savage has pinned Umaga!!!
Without any hesitation Undertaker comes stampeding into the ring and slaps his hand around his neck and hits a huge chokeslam!! Cover on Savage…..1………………2……………….No!! Savage kicks out!!! Taker can’t believe it!! Taker picks up Savage and hoists him up for a Tombstone and…wam! Right to the mat goes Savage!! Cover…….1…………..2……………….3!! Randy Savage is gone!!
Out of nowhere comes Lashley who clothesline Taker to the outside of the ring!! Lashley then suicide dives and nails Taker on the outside!!! Lashley tosses Taker into the steel steps and Lashley is fearce!!! Paul Heyman tries to hold up the urn for Taker but Lashley pushes Heyman right down to the floor! Lashley throws Taker over the barricade into the crowd and before anyone knew it the referee reached a 10 count!!! Lashley and Undertaker have been counted out of this match!!
We are done to the wire here! For McMahon’s team only Vince and Orton remain and for Foley’s team only Cena remains!! Foley’s future rests in Cena’s hands!!
Orton with a kick to the gut on Cena followed by some kicks to the back. Orton levels Cena with some stiff right hands and pushes him to the opposite corner. Cena with a big bulldog on Orton, but Orton kicks out with force during a pinfall attempt. Cena catches Orton with a shoulder followed by an elbow drop that results in a two count. Orton fights back kicking Cena in the chest and then taking him off his feet with a big right hand. Orton poses to the crowd, but Cena rolls him up and gets a close two count. Orton leaps back up and takes out Cena with a big clothesline. Cena is tied up in the ropes and Orton toys with him hitting a few punches. The crowd chants loudly and Orton stares them down. Cena then drops Orton's head off the top rope, goes up to the top rope, jumps off and connects with a modified leg drop. Cena hooks the leg, but Orton gets a shoulder up. Orton catches Cena with an elbow to stop anymore quick offense. Orton picks up what looks to be a lifeless Cena, but Cena gets him on his shoulders going for an Attitude Adjustment. Orton counters off his shoulders and takes out Cena with a big uppercut. Orton then stomps on Cena's ankle with force. Orton continues stomping over the chest of Cena and then hammerfists his pectoral muscle that was injured. Orton exposes his knee, goes for a knee drop, but Cena moves. Cena misses a charge on Orton and Orton applies a stiff headlock. Cena tries fighting out, but Orton keeps the pressure applied. Cena fights back to his feet and takes out Orton with two takedowns and a side slam. Cena points to a Mick Foley sign in the audience, does the "YOU CAN'T SEE ME" and connects with the Five Knuckle Shuffle. Cena has Orton up for the Attitude Adjustment but Orton counters out and hits a backbreaker much to McMahon’s approval! Orton puts Cena up on the top rope hitting some punches. Orton then climbs up with Cena, hooks an arm, but Cena pushes him off. Cena jumps and misses a leg drop attempt. Orton then starts to stalk Cena. Cena gets to his feet, Orton goes for the RKO but Cena counters and lifts up Orton and hits the Attitude Adjustment!! Cover……..1………………2…………………..3!!!! Orton is gone!!!! We are done to two men!!! McMahon looks scared to death as Cena looks up and smiles at him! McMahon slowly enters the ring and once he does he decks the referee right in the face!! McMahon then bails out of the ring and Cena stands there confused… Suddenly out of the crowd behind Cena comes Triple H! Triple H has his sledgehammer in his hand and once he turns around Triple H decks him right in the chops with it!! McMahon smiles and rolls in the ring and covers Cena! The ref gets in position……1………………………..2………………………………3!!!! Mr. McMahon has pinned Cena!! Team McMahon has won and now McMahon is in full control of Raw and Foley is gone from the WWE!!! Triple H stares down at Cena and now all of this makes sense. Triple H got his revenge on Cena for costing him the championship a few months ago! I cannot believe this! We all thought Triple H wanted nothing to do with Cena but it looks like it was just eating him alive that he was not champion and tonight he got his revenge.
McMahon gets to his feet with a huge smile on his face. The referee raises his hand as we get set for our main event for the WWE Championship!
A video package is shown of the feud between Angle and Michaels! This one looks to be a slobberknocker!

Shawn Michaels (c) vs. Kurt Angle
Angle and Michaels lock up and Angle goes behind him and locks his arms but Michaels elbows him and rolls under his legs for a quick pin but Angle kicks out at 1 and grabs Michaels again and rolls him onto his stomach where he’s got him latched in. Great technical wrestling skills being shown here. Michaels counters the hold and rolls up Angle again but Angle quickly kicks out again and reapplies his grab on Michaels. Michaels the summersaults and takes Angle with him and breaks his grip. Both men return to a vertical base and the fans appauled them. Angle lifts his hand in the air and wants Michaels to take it for another duel but Michaels slaps Angle in the face! After what happened last Monday this battle has turned personal. Angle charges at Michaels and hits a belly to back suplex and covers Michaels but Michaels is hung up in the ropes. Angle gets Michaels back to his feet and gives him some straight right hands and then hits another belly to back! Angle apples the leg scissors to Michaels and so far looks dominant in this thing. Michaels reaches for the ropes and just gets them as Angle breaks it up. Angle picks up Michaels and attempts a clothesline but Michaels ducks it and nails Angle with a chop to the chest! Angle holds his chest and Michaels hits him with a right hand! Angle then holds his face and Michaels hits another chop! This continues three more times until Angle’s chest is beat red! Michaels picks up Angle and hits the atomic drop and covers Angle for only a 1 count. Michaels tosses Angle into the ropes and hits a flying forearm and then heads up for the elbow drop! Michaels leaps but there is nobody home as Angle moves right out of the way! Angle is poised and once Michaels reaches his feet and nails an Angle Slam!! Angle can’t make the cover right way and is still ridding his body of certain pains. Finally after about 10 seconds Angle rolls over and covers Michaels….1………..2………………No! Michael’s foot gets to the bottom rope! Angle starts to go over to the corner and climbs up to the top rope. Michaels nips up though and pushes Angle right off the top to the outside! Michaels hops on the apron then does a springboard cross body that takes Angle down on the outside! What a match this is!! The ref starts his count and gets to 8 before both men roll back in the ring. Michaels climbs up the top rope and hits the eblow drop on Angle and starts to tune up the band in the corner! Angle gets up slowly and once he does Michaels goes for it but Angle counters into the Ankle Lock!!! Michaels’ quicly reaches toward the rope but Angle quickly pulls him back to the center of the ring! Angle tightens the grip on is Ankle and from the looks of things we are gonna have a new champion crowned! Michaels again starts inching over toward the ropes but Angle pulls him back to the center! Michaels twists his body and kicks Angle off and the referee gets hit!! Angle quickly goes back and applies the Ankle lock in the center of the ring!! This time though the referee is out cold!! Michaels screeches in pain and with that he taps his hand on the mat! The ref is still out though so he is not there to end it! Angle is furious and breaks the hold and goes over to shake the referee! Angle can’t get him up and gives up so he turns back around but is hit with Sweet Chin Music to the face!!!! Cover!! No referee!!! Here comes Charles Robinson running from the back and into the ring! He counts….1…………..2…………………..No!!! Kurt Angle just gets the shoulder up!! What a match!!! Both men slowly begin to get to their feet using each other to get there. Both men are up to a vertical base but are wobbly. Angle hits a right hand… then Michaels hits a right hand… then Angle.. then Michaels.. the Angle.. then Michaels… no! Angle ducks it and goes for the Angle Slam but Michaels counters out and hits Sweet Chin Music!!!!! Michaels falls down on Angle!!! Cover…..1……………………………2………………………………..3!!! Shawn Michaels does it!! Michaels has retained the WWE Championship here tonight! What a match that was! Back and forth action the whole time but in the end it was Michaels that prevailed!!! Michaels gets up to a knee and the referee hands him the WWE Championship. Angle still lays there unconscious and we know that we will be hearing from him tomorrow night on Raw because Michaels’ did tap out early in the match. But nevertheless Shawn Michaels has retained the championship here tonight!!
Michaels holds up the WWE Championship as fireworks shoot off in the area…. the cameras fade…
