Well folks it is time for the final encounter between Brock Lesnar and Shawn Michales!! And don’t forget… it’s last man standing!!!
The Final Encounter - Last Man Standing
Brock Lesnar vs. Shawn Michaels
Brock Lesnar and Shawn Michaels stood face to face and briefly exchanged words and then the two backed off and locked it up in the center of the ring. Lesnar and Michaels backed each other into the corner and the referee wanted a break and they wouldn't break it up. Lesnar finally got out of the tie up and gave Shawn a few right hands and Shawn fought back with some right hands of his own followed by a few knife edge chops. Shawn Michaels took Lesnar down with a leg lace take down and then he put him in the figure four leg lock and Lesnar reached towards the ropes but couldn't grasp them. Shawn held onto the hold as long as he could and then he finally broke it and told the referee to start the count and he did just that. Lesnar got up and Shawn knocked him down once again with a drop kick to the knee to knock him right back down. Lesnar got up once again and Shawn charged at him with a cross body but Lesnar ducked it and Shawn leapt right over the top rope, crashing down to the arena floor. Lesnar got out of the ring with Shawn Michaels and he cleared off the announcer's table and slammed the top of the table right into Howard Finkel. Lesnar pulled Michaels onto the announcer's table and he went for a suplex on Michaels but Michaels got out of it and he nailed Lesnar with a series of right hands to knock him down to the arena floor. Shawn rolled Lesnar into the ring and then he went to the top rope and came off with a double ax handle but Lesnar kicked Shawn in the gut and went for the F5 but Shawn countered it and suplexed him right out of the ring! Shawn Michaels went for a springboard cross body on Lesnar on the outside of the ring but Lesnar moved and Shawn went crashing through the table. The referee then started the count 1..2….3….4….5….6….7.. Shawn begins to move…8…9… and Shawn makes it to a knee!! Lesnar then grabs Michaels and tosses him back in the ring. Shawn is now busted open! Lesnar beat on Shawn Michaels and then nailed a huge powerbomb and told the ref to count…1…2….3…4…5….6…7…8…Shawn makes it up! Lesnar knocks him down with a huge clothesline and the ref counts again..1…2…3..4…5…6..7…8.. Shawn makes it up again! Lesnar tried a few more times but Shawn continued to hobble back to his feet. It even came to a point where Lesnar yelled at Michaels to stay down but he refused to do so. Michaels fought back on Lesnar with hard right hands and Shawn was losing a lot of blood and getting weak as his face was a crimson mask! Lesnar got out of the ring and grabbed a steel chair and brought it into the ring and nailed Michaels in the back with it. The referee then started the count on Michaels 1…2….3….4…5…6…7..Shawn begins to move…8…9…and he gets up again! Lesnar then laid the chair in the middle of the ring and went for a powerbomb on Michaels to end it but Shawn got out of it by pulling Lesnar down to the mat and then he gave him a slingshot into the turnbuckle. Shawn Michaels then lifted the steel chair up and smacked Lesnar in the head with it to send him down to the mat and as a result, Lesnar was also busted opened. Shawn Michaels plowed through Lesnar with a flying forearm and both men went down and the ref begin to count both..1…2…3..4…5…6…7.. Lesnar is up…8…9.. and Shawn Michaels got up with a nip up and went back to work on Lesnar. Shawn then knocked Lesnar back down to the mat and then he went to the top rope for the elbow drop and connected with it. Shawn Michaels went to the corner and geared up for the super kick but Lesnar gave Shawn a low blow to stop it. The ref then counts both men down again but they reach their feet at 7 and Shawn Michaels put Lesnar in a sleeper hold to wear him down and possibly get him down for the ten count. Michaels applies more and more pressure. Finally Lesnar isn’t moving so he breaks the hold and the ref counts..1…2…3…4…5…6…7..8.. Lesnar pulls himself up from the ropes! Michaels and Lesnar then fired away on each other with hard right hands and Lesnar planted Shawn with a spinebuster and the referee started the count with Lesnar getting up at the count of 6 and Michaels getting up at the count of 8. Once Michaels reaches his feet Lesnar is there and plants him with an F5! The ref starts to count..1…2…3…4…5..6…7.. Michaels start to move…8…9.. Michaels is up!! Lesnar can’t believe it and picks up Michaels and screams in his face but Michaels out of nowhere hits the superkick and both men are down!! The ref counts…1…2…3…4…5..6..Michaels reaches his feet…7…8…9……and Lesnar barely gets up but Michaels nails another superkick on him and sends him back down to the mat!! The ref counts..1….2…3…4…5…6…7…8..9……but again Lesnar gets up! Michaels then runs over to Lesnar but Lesnar explodes and nails a belly to belly! Lesnar then grabs the steel chair and looks at it. Lesnar turns around to wack Michaels but he ducks out of the way and nails the superkick and kicks the chair right into the Lesnar’s face! The chair ends up around Lesnar’s neck as he falls to the ground! Michaels stares down at Lesnar and the ref begins the count..1….2….3….4….5….6..Lesnar has not moved an inch…7…..8….9…..10!!! It’s over!! It’s over! Shawn Michaels has done it!! What a way to end one of the biggest feuds in history! Shawn Michaels poses to the crowd and Lesnar finally gets up and gets right in the face of Michaels! Lesnar takes a few steps back.. then nods his head at Shawn and exits the ring…
We go backstage and John Cena the WWE Champion and World Champion is standing by!
Todd: Well John Cena tonight you face Kurt Angle… and not one but both your championship belts are on the line… in not just a one fall but a two fall contest!
Cena: I know the stipulation Todd but I also know what it means to hold both these championships. Kurt Angle is an outstanding competitor I give him credit for that but he can’t beat me when I’m fighting for what I love.. and what I love are these people and this company and the pride and honor of wearing both these championships around my waist! Tonight Kurt… be at your best! Give me everything you got… because the end result will be the same and by the end of the night I’ll be saying the same 4 words as I always do…”The Champ is Here!!”
We now go to the other side of the building where Josh Matthews is standing by with Kurt Angle!
Josh: Well we have just heard John Cena’s comments and we were hoping to get some of yours Kurt…
Angle: I’ll give you some words and here they are! John Cena is holding my WWE Championship belt! That was a fluke when he defeated me at Survivor Series and it will never happen again. You see John I’ve figured you out and the one thing you fear more than anything is the ankle lock! Never have I gotten the opporutunit to fully apply it on you because you have squirmed your way out! Tonight… I promise the whole world John Cena will not tap once… but twice and I will leave the Undisputed Champion!!
Up next it is the Intercontinental Championship battle!!
Intercontinental Championship
Edge (c) vs. Jeff Hardy
Both men lock it up and Hardy slaps Edge across the face! Edge came back with some kicks, but Hardy avoided an armdrag grabbed an Oklahoma Roll for two, then grabbed another armdrag. Edge started throwing forearms, but Hardy grabbed a backslide as he tried a neckbreaker for a two count. Hardy hit a double legdrop to the "lower abdomen" and Edge went to the floor to regroup. There was a "Hardy" chant. Edge hit some forearms and whipped Hardy hard into a corner, then measured him with big punches. Hardy reversed a whip, and Edge tried a leapfrog, but Hardy avoided it and dropkicked Edge into a corner. Hardy hit some punches and a kick out of the corner off the ropes, then set up for a Swanton. Edge rolled out of the ring, and Hardy hit a baseball slide. Hardy brought back his old "walking the security wall" spot, hitting a clothesline on the floor. Back in the ring, Hardy went to climb the ropes, but Edge dropkicked him down. Edge applied a spinning toehold and dropped down on the leg. Edge hit the move again, then backed Hardy in a corner and kicked at his leg. Hardy battled back with punches. Hardy missed an enzugiri, and Edge slammed Hardy's knee into the mat. Edge scored a two count. Edge stood on Hardy's foot and kicked his leg. Edge stayed on the leg, kicking it out from under Jeff for a two count. Edge went to the floor, pulling Hardy's leg across the apron, and pounded it. Edge slingshotted onto the leg as it was stretched across the apron. Edge took it back into the ring, scoring a two count and continuing to work on the left leg of Hardy, putting on a modified Indian Deathlock. Edge pulled on the leg, then hit a shinbuster before kicking the leg again. Edge put Hardy's leg on the second rope and dropped his knee across it, then applied an ankle lock. Hardy tried to rally with some chops, but Edge hit a chopblock on the knee. Edge went to the top rope for a missile drop kick, but Hardy moved out of the way and Edge crashed to the mat. Edge hit Hardy with a back elbow as they got up, but soon they were trading reversals on a rollup, ending in a two count for Hardy. Hardy hit some clotheslines, but Edge kicked him and went for a neckbreaker but Hardy blocked it and nailed the twist of fate!! Cover…..1………..2…………..No! Edge kicks out! Hardy gets up and hits a spinning leg drop then heads up to the top for another Swanton Bomb but again Edge moves and Hardy gets his back hard on the mat! Edge gets to his feet and nails the Impaler DDT! Cover….1……….2…………No! Hardy kicks out!! Edge then sets up in the corner for a spear and goes for it but Hardy hops over the top of him and rolls him up in a sunset flip! 1…..2…..No! Edge flips out of it! Hardy nails a right hand and irish whips Edge but he reverses and Hardy goes smack in the corner and then Edge nails the spear!! Cover…….1…………….2…………………..3!! Edge retains the Intercontinental Championship!! What a battle!!
Well ladies and gentlemen the time is here! Our main event for both the World title and the WWE title! Here are the rules!
This is a 2 fall match up. The first fall will be for the WWE Championship. The second will be for the World Heavyweight Championship. You can leave with one championship, two championships, or none at all.
WWE Championship/World Heavyweight Championship - 2 Fall Contest
John Cena (c) vs. Kurt Angle
Angle and Cena locked up and Angle got Cena in the ropes and broke at four. Another lock up, and Angle got a side headlock on the mat. Angle with a shoulder block and another side headlock, but Cena escaped. Angle with a belly to belly throw into the side headlock again but Cena got to his feet and backed Angle to the corner. Another lock up and Cena got a side headlock but Angle hit a drop toe hold into a front face lock but Cena again backed Angle to the ropes and then went to work with shoulder thrusts and then clotheslined Angle to the outside. Cena tackled Angle over to the announce table and pounded him with right hands. Cena sent Angle face first into the table and then threw him back inside the ring. Cena hit a vertical suplex for two and then gave him some right hands. Cena hit a big clothesline out of the corner and then went for the FU but Angle rolled out of the ring. Cena with right hands but Angle came back with a German suplex, sending Cena into the turnbuckles. Angle worked over Cena in the corner and then a suplex for one. Angle with a back breaker for two and then hit some right hands in the corner, followed by a snapmare into a body scissors. Cena fought back with a back elbow but Angle hit three German’s and made the cover but Cena got his foot on the ropes. Angle locked in a rear chin lock on Cena but Cena battled out and hit a flying shoulder tackle and both men are down. Cena with right hands to Angle and then hit a headbutt and some big clotheslines, and a high elbow. Angle with an eye rake but Cena came back with a spinebuster for two. Angle fought back with a German, but Cena blocked the second and then hit a tiltawhirl side slam for two. Cena went for the FU but Angle into a sunset flip for two. Angle with a belly to belly throw and both men are down again. Angle went for the Angle Slam but Cena reversed into a DDT for two. Cena looked very focused and went for the FU again but Angle rolled through and locked in the Ankle Lock in the middle of the ring but Cena used his strength to throw Angle off, and he ended up outside. Cena went up top and hit a leg drop as Angle was re-entering the ring for a near fall. Cena sent Angle to the corner and charged in but Angle hit a boot to the face! Angle then charged at him but Cena hoisted him up on his shoulders and nails the FU!! Cover…….1………............…2…………........….3!! Cena did it!! Cena retains the WWE Championship!!!! The ref raises Cena’s hand and he is declared the WWE Champion!
The ref waits for Angle to reach his feet and then rings the bell for the 2nd fall. This fall will be for the World Heavyweight Championship! Angle looks pissed as he charges at Cena and scores with a chop block and then dragged Cena to the corner and whacked his leg into the ring post, four times. Angle with a leg lace submission, but Cena grabbed the ropes. Angle stomped on the Ankle of Cena and finally Cena reaches his feet but Angle comes from behind and nails the Angle Slam!! Cover…..1…………2…………..NO! Cena kicks out!!! The last thing Cena wants is Angle taking his world title from him! Angle grabbed Cena ankle and locked in the Ankle Lock in the middle of the ring! Cena though quickly rolls out and makes it to the ropes! Cena has avoided the Ankle Lock on all tries! Cena then scores with a kick to the mid section and then hits the FU out of nowhere! Cena can’t make the cover at first but finally gets the arm over….1…………2…………….No!! Angle kicks out!! What a battle these 2 men have put out! Both men reach their feet and Angle goes for a kick but Cena catches his leg, trips him up and locks in the STFU in the center of the ring!!! This is the same submission hold Angle tapped to to lose his WWE title back in Survivor Series!!! Angle screams in pain as he claws his way toward the ropes… he reaches out but can’t get to them! Cena applies the pressure and Angle starts to panic!! Sweat is pouring from both men as Angle tries to fight his way out of the hold but he can’t. Finally Angle claws a little more and reaches out and just touches the bottom rope! The hold is broken! Cena is in shock.. The FU couldn’t put Angle away and not even the STFU can do it! Cena waits for Angle to reach his feet and then unloads with a series of right hands and Angle is wobbly! Cena then picks up Angle for another FU! This time Angle rolls out the back door, trips up Cena and applies the Ankle Lock! Cena reaches out for the ropes and quickly grabs them but Angle pulls him back to the center of the ring and lies down locking his legs around Cena! Cena is finally placed in the Ankle Lock and is not handling it well! He reaches for the ropes but is nowhere even close! The ref checks on him and he is screaming in tap! Angle shouts tap! tap! and applies even more pressure. Cena attempts to roll his way out of it but it only makes matters worse and Angle is able to apply even more pressure! Cena’s face gets beat red but he still is not tapping out! Finally he starts to lose consciousness… the ref goes over and lifts Cena hand and it drops once.. he lifts it again and it drops twice… if it falls for a third time the match will be over… the ref lifts it.. and it doesn’t drop! Cena holds it up! Cena fights and fights and gets closer to the ropes! Angle though pulls back on the Ankle and Cena stops dead in his tracks and taps out!!!!! John Cena taps out! Kurt Angle has won the World Heavyweight Championship!!!! Unbelievable! Kurt Angle reaches his feet and lifts his arms in the air as he is handed the World title! Cena rolls to the outside of the ring and holds his ankle as paramedics come to check on him.
What an incredible night ladies and gentlemen! See how it all falls out tomorrow on Raw! Goodnight everybody!!
