Cruiserweight Championship - Triple Threat Match Chavo Guerrero (c) vs. Rey Mysterio vs. Billy Kidman All three men just stared at each other as the bell sounded, looking to feel each other out in the opening moments of this cruiserweight championship bout. Rey and Chavo eventually started things off, but Kidman came in and formed an alliance with Guerrero. Double-teaming ensued for the men as the two hit a double vertical suplex. Chavo crawled into the cover, but Kidman stopped him and looked upset. Guerrero tried to apologize, but Kidman hit him with a modified axe kick. Kidman then charged at Rey near the ropes, but got back bodied to the apron. Meanwhile, Chavo grabbed a waist lock and charged him into the ropes looking for a roll up. Kidman, though, had the wherewithal to catch Rey in the gut with his shoulder. An impressive spot followed as Kidman hit a sunset flip on Chavo while Guerrero German supplexed Rey halfway across the ring. Kidman scored the near fall and then locked Chavito in a hanging leg choke over the top rope. Rey took advantage of Kidmans body being exposed on the outside and drilled him with a kick that sent him crashing to the floor. Kidman got back into the ring and hit Rey with a standing enziguiri for a near fall and proceeded to toss Rey into the corner. Rey scored with reverse elbow on the charging Kidman before heading up to the second rope and hitting him with the Mushroom stomp. He then went to the top looking for the frog splash, but Chavo got there in time to prevent it. As Chavo climbed the ropes, Kidman made it to his feet and whacked him in the back of the head with a jumping roundhouse kick. Kidman and Rey proceeded to battle it out on the top turnbuckle, each looking to hit a match-ending maneuver. However, Kidman gained control and hit Rey with a sky-high superplex. Since Kidman was too shaken up to make the cover, Chavo did the honors and got a near fall. Chavo then took control, beating up each man one at a time. Guerrero turned his focus toward Kidman, who then missed a spinning back kick and ran right into a tilt-a-whirl backbreaker for another near fall. Rey got back in the fray and reversed out of a Chavo vertical suplex attempt. He then did a dropsault that caught Chavito right in the face, but landed him right into perfect pinning position on Kidman. 1

Chavo crawled up to the apron, potentially looking for a sunset flip, but Kidman caught him and attempted to suplex Guerrero back into the ring. Chavo reversed it, though, and rolled through. Kidman came charging, but a boot to gut set him up nicely for Chavos powerbomb. Rey then went for a drop kick but Chavo moved and he kicked Kidman over!
