A video package is shown of tonight’s action and hyping the main event championship match! Boom! Off go the fireworks and it is time for No Mercy! Tonight is the night many have been waiting for! Tonight we find out who the man is! Batista will defend his championship against Lashley for the first time ever!! Also here tonight Undertaker looks to stop an end to all of this madness as he takes on Edge!! But the most shocking match of all that was made just 3 days ago is the newest Smackdown member Goldberg takes on Chris Jericho!!
To kick things off the Tag titles are on the line!!!
World Tag Team Championship
Simply Priceless (c) vs. Rey Mysterio and Hurricane
Rhodes and Mysterio start off. Rhodes goes behind, but Mysterio snaps off a head scissors. Mysterio with a quick tag to Hurricane. Rhodes gets Hurricane over to the corner and gives him some right hands. Hurricane is able to push him away and hit a bicycle kick to the face. Hurricane hits a flying forearm, kips up, but gets caught with a nice counter from Rhodes. DiBiase provides a distraction allowing Rhodes to connect with his springboard kick. Rhodes tags in DiBiase but Hurricane hits him with some chops. DiBiase grounds Hurricane now and works a neck vice. Hurricane back to his feet and fights out with a back suplex. Rhodes in, and hits some mounted forearms on Hurricane. Hurricane tries to crawl for the tag but Rhodes stops it. Rhodes sets up Hurricane up top and looks for a superplex, but it's blocked. Hurricane drops Rhodes and crawls along the ropes to make the tag. Rey with a huricanrana to DiBiase, followed up with a head scissors sending Rhodes into the turnbuckle. A moonsault gets 2. Rey to the apron, takes out DiBiase and connects with a seated senton to Rhodes! 619 connects! Mysterio up top, but DiBiase grabs his leg and Mysterio falls off the top and lands on his neck! Hurricane pulls DiBiase off the apron but gets ran into the steel post. Rhodes goes over and covers Rey…… 1……..2………………3!!! Rhodes and DiBiase retain the titles!!! The medics come out and check on Rey who looks to be in horrible shape. Rhodes and DiBiase hold up the belts on the entrance way and don’t even care to check on Mysterio.
We go backstage and Josh is standing by with Lashley..
Josh: Well Lashley later tonight you have a shot at the World Heavyweight Championship. Now what are your thoughts heading in to this epic battle with Batista?
Lashley: Tonight is my night. I know that Batista isn’t going to lay down for me but I’ve been trying hard for the past few months and I’m not going down without a fight! With the last few weeks going by I know there has been some tension between me and Batista but I have to say I have nothing but respect for him. So tonight… Batista… may the best man win!
Up next its RVD and Khali!
Rob Van Dam vs. "The Great" Khali
A loud "RVD" chant as the bell rings. Lock up and Khali pushes RVD into the corner. Referee break and another lock up. RVD gets a headlock applied and Khali throws him away. RVD with another headlock, bounces off the ropes and Khali catches him with a big shoulder block. Khali with a big right hand to RVD. Khali with a slap to RVD’s chest and that sends RVD to the corner. Khali drives his knee into RVD in the corner a few times. Khali attempts another knee, RVD moves and lands a few kicks. Khali fires back with a big clothesline on RVD. Khali starts choking RVD against the ropes. Khali with a big headbutt that sends RVD to the mat. Khali puts RVD on his shoulders, RVD jumps off and charges Khali 's thigh in the corner. RVD attempts a kick from the top but Khali hits him with a chop on the way down. RVD counters a press slam and chop blocks Khali coming off the ropes. RVD hits a kick to the chest of Khali that startles the big man. RVD leaves the ring and Khali follows. RVD with a few rights and Khali shoves him down with force on his back. Khali rolls back in, RVD grabs his leg and slams it against the ring. Back in the ring, RVD goes back to work on Khali’s knee and Khali kicks RVD into the corner. Khali follows that up with a big boot to RVD. Cover by Khali and RVD kicks out after two. Khali drags RVD to the corner, gets up on the bottom ropes and drives his body into RVD’s chest. Cover by Khali and another kick out by RVD. Khali goes to work on RVD’s head when RVD fights back with some elbows and a big kick to the face. RVD with some big rights, ducks a clothesline, but Khali gets him up in a bearhug. RVD gets the crowd fired up as he lands a few rights. RVD attempts a sunset flip, but RVD can’t pull Khali down. Khali attempts a body splash over RVD’s chest, but RVD rolls away. RVD hits a spinning leg drop and goes in and hits rolling thunder!! RVD then hops up on the top rope and Khali is still down! RVD leaps and nails the 5 Star!!!! RVD makes the cover………1……………..2……………………No!! Khali powers out!! RVD heads up top again! RVD leaps but Khali moves! RVD hits hard on the mat below! Khali gets up and grabs RVD by the throat with both hands! Khali lifts up RVD but RVD fights out then hits a leg sweep that brings down the big man!! RVD jumps up on the ropes again and then leaps off and nails the 5 Star again!! RVD makes the cover………1……………..2………………….3!!!! Yes!! Rob Van Dam beats Khali!! What an upset!! And what a victory by RVD!!

Jeff Hardy (c) vs. Scott Hall
The bell rings and here we go. When Jeff turns his back, Hall takes him out and goes for a quick roll up that results in a two count. Jeff jumps right back up and stares down Hall. Hall goes to work on Hardy's left arm. Hardy flips over to break it up. Hall goes back to work on his arm. Jeff flips again to break it up and gets an armdrag takedown on Hall. Hall breaks that up and they back off staring each other down. Lock up and headlock by Hall. Big shoulder block by Hall on Jeff. Hip toss by Hall, but Jeff fights back and takes down Hall into a headlock. Jeff with a shoulder block into an arm drag takedown on Hall. Hall breaks that up with a reverse elbow off the ropes on Jeff. Head scissors takedown by Jeff on Hall and then Jeff clotheslines Hall over the top rope to the outside. Jeff then dives off the ring apron and takes out Hall with a running clothesline. Jeff grabs Hall, throws him into the ring and hits a springboard leg drop that results in a two count. Jeff goes back to the side headlock takedown on Hall. Hall starts getting to his feet and sends Jeff into the ropes. Jeff kicks Hall in the face/chest, but Hall launches Jeff over the to rope. Jeff lands on his feet, hits Hall, Hall pulls Jeff through the ropes trying to hoist him up for an Outsider Edge but Jeff sends Hall over the top rope to the outside! Jeff hits the ropes, dives over the top rope, but Hall moves and Jeff lands hard on his back. Hall returns to the ring as the Carlito starts the count. Carlito gets to 5 when Jeff is able to get in the ring. Jeff fights back with some right hands, but Hall takes him out with a huge knee to the face. Cover by Hall and Jeff continues to kick out. Hall with a jumping knee to the face from the corner, cover and Jeff gets a shoulder up after two. Hall hits a big right hand on Jeff that sends Jeff to the corner. Hall takes advantage and gets in a few shoulder charges to Jeff. Jeff fires back with two boots to Hall’s face from the corner, but Hall grabs Jeff and applies an abdominal stretch. Hall uses the ropes for leverage. Carlito eventually sees this and breaks it up. Hall gets mad at Carlito and slaps him in the face! Carlito threatens to call for the bell and then Hall begs him not to! Scott Hall then turns around and Jeff nails the Twist of Fate on him!!! Both men are down now! Carlito starts to count both men down as Jeff gets to his feet! Jeff heads up top for the Swanton! Jeff leaps but Hall moves! Hall gets to his feet and lifts up Jeff and nails the Outsider Edge!!! Hall makes the cover… Carlito is hesitant but makes the count…….1………….2……………….3!! Scott Hall is the new Intercontinental Champion and Carlito even made the 3 count!

Bull-Horn Championship
John "Bradshaw" Layfield vs. CM Punk
The bell rings and JBL and Punk lock up. JBL backs Punk to the corner and the referee breaks it up. The referee pushes JBL back. JBL then steps forward with a knee to the gut and then a headlock on Punk taking the action near the mat. JBL with a big shoulder block on Punk. Punk with some kicks to JBL followed by a big forearm takedown. Punk with a dropkick that sends JBL out of the ring through the ropes. Punk with a suicide dive through the ropes taking out JBL on the outside! Punk tosses JBL back in the ring, goes to the top turnbuckle, jumps, hits a cross-body and JBL quickly kicks out. Punk comes off the ropes and JBL catches him with a big shoulder block. JBL with some big right hands on Punk in the corner. Punk catches JBL with a boot in the corner. Punk is back up top when JBL cuts him off with a shot to the back. JBL grabs Punk and connects with a fallaway slam from the top rope! Hook of the leg by JBL and Punk kicks out after two. JBL with a shot to the back. Punk sits back up and JBL gives him another shot to the back. Punk gets to his feet and JBL levels him with a big right hand. JBL with an irish whip to the corner on Punk. JBL then applies a modified bearhug trying to weaken Punk. Punk attempts a few elbows to break free. Punk breaks free and lands a few kicks on JBL. JBL with a big boot on Punk from the corner. JBL follows that up with another boot to the head on the ground, hook of the leg and Punk kicks out. JBL with a forearm to the back on Punk followed by a quick back suplex. Another cover by JBL and Punk again kicks out. JBL with an abdominal stretch on Punk. Punk with a hip toss on JBL to break up the abdominal stretch. Punk with a high knee to the head on JBL followed by a bulldog from the corner. Punk attempts a GTS, but JBL counters off and levels Punk with a big clothesline. JBL drops a few elbows over Punk, covers and Punk kicks out. Punk and JBL exchange punches. Punk with some slaps and then a kick to the head on JBL. Cover by Punk and JBL kicks out. Punk with a springboard, but JBL catches him and connects with a powerslam that results in a two count. JBL argues with the referee that it was a three count. JBL raises his arm and gets booed. JBL goes for the Clothesline From Hell when Punk counters with a dropkick to the face. Punk with another high knee in the corner, attempts another bulldog, JBL counters and places Punk back up on the top turnbuckle. JBL lands numerous forearm shots to the back on Punk. JBL climbs up with Punk and connects with a big back suplex off the top! JBL waits for Punk to get up and once he does JBL goes for the Clothesline From Hell but Punk ducks it and lifts up JBL! GTS connects!!! Punk quickly covers him!! 1………………2……………….3!!!! It’s over!!! It’s over!! CM Punk has won the Bull Horn Championship!! JBL has been defeated!! I can’t believe this!! Punk reaches his feet as the new championship is handed to Punk! Punk doesn’t seem so interested in the championship but is ecstatic that he has stopped JBL’s win streak! What is JBL going to be like on Smackdown??

Goldberg vs. Chris Jericho
The bell rings and here we go. Fast lock up and Goldberg pushes Jericho away. Another lock up and Jericho gets a headlock applied. Shoulder block by Jericho on Cena. Jericho with kicks and shots to the neck of Goldberg. Jericho with a kick to the ribs of Goldberg. Jericho backs off smiling. Goldberg with a big takedown and shots on Jericho. Jericho bails to the outside and Goldberg follows sending Jericho face first into the steel steps. Goldberg sends Jericho into the ring. When Goldberg gets in Jericho hits him with a kick to the face. Jericho with elbows and a headbutt shot. Jericho with some elbows to Goldberg in the corner. Goldberg with a big clothesline on Jericho. Jericho attempts a sleeper on Goldberg. Goldberg tries to break free and falls back on the mat with Jericho on his back. Jericho hangs on as Goldberg backs him into the corner. Jericho pulls Goldberg to the mat and keeps the sleeper locked in. Goldberg lifts Jericho up onto his shoulders. Jericho jumps off and counters into a big DDT on Cena. Goldberg is on the ring apron when Jericho springboards off the turnbuckle. Goldberg catches Jericho on his shoulders. Jericho jumps off and then pushes Goldberg off the ring apron right into the steel steps face first. Jericho tosses Goldberg back into the ring, hooks the leg and Goldberg kicks out after two. Jericho with a big kick to the head of Goldberg. Another kick to the head followed by a kick to the back by Jericho. Jericho levels Goldberg yet again with a kick to the head and wraps Goldberg up against the ropes. Jericho leans back on Goldberg's neck using the top rope for leverage. Jericho with a snapmare on Goldberg back into a modified rear naked choke. Jericho with a big knee to Goldberg's gut as Goldberg breaks the hold. Jericho misses a charge in the corner and Goldberg explodes off the ropes with a pair of shoulder blocks. Goldberg with a powerslam. Goldberg goes into the corner and sets up for the spear but Jericho drop toes him and goes for the Walls but Goldberg counters out, hits a belly-to-belly, cover and Jericho kicks out. Jericho with an elbow and missile dropkick to Goldberg. Cover by Jericho and Goldberg kicks out. Goldberg with a hip toss and clothesline on Jericho. Jericho comes back taking Goldberg down and connecting with a Lionsault. Cover by Jericho and Goldberg again kicks out. Jericho with a clothesline in the corner and some elbow shots to Goldberg. Cover by Goldberg and Jericho gets a shoulder up after two. Goldberg taunts at Jericho saying it is over. Goldberg motions for the spear again but Jericho moves and the ref gets hit with a fraction of the spear! The ref rolls around holding his arm as Jericho hits a low blow on Goldberg and heads to the outside! Jericho grabs 2 chairs and tosses them in the ring! Jericho goes to smash Goldberg with one but Goldberg blocks it and kicks Jericho! Goldberg grabs the chair but the ref is up and takes it from Goldberg! The ref turns around to toss the chair out of the ring and as he does Goldberg turns around and Jericho runs at him with the chair and nails the code breaker with the chair!! Goldberg’s jaw lands on that chair as Jericho quickly tosses it out! The ref saw nothing! Jericho covers Goldberg…1……….2………….3!! Chris Jericho has beaten Goldberg again!!! Jericho bails out of the ring as quick as possible as Goldberg rolls around with blood gushing from his mouth!! I wouldn’t want to be Jericho come this Friday on Smackdown but never the less Jericho has beaten Goldberg now twice in a row!!

Josh: Well Batista… we are just moments away from what people have been calling the match they’ve been waiting to see.. we heard from Lashley earlier tonight and he said he was walking out as champion.. your thoughts..
Batista: On a personal note to Lashley… I respect you as well my man and it will be a pleasure to put my title on the line against you tonight. Now back to reality… I have been champion for almost 9 months now and it’s not going to stop tonight! Lashley may have the momentum… he may have the majority of the fans… who knows… we’ll find out later but the fact is he’s challenging the animal! Tonight I walk in as champion and leave as I came! Good luck Bobby… you’ll need it!
Up next it is Edge and Undertaker battling! We'll have to see if Edge really was behind those mind games!
Undertaker vs. Edge
The bell rings and Undertaker walks forward ready to strike. Taker jabs Edge a few times and then catches him in the corner. Edge turns it around, but Taker pushes him away. Edge rolls out, stares down Taker and gets back in. Taker misses a right hand and Edge ducks. Edge gets in a few rights of his own. Taker then grabs Edge by the throat and launches Edge into the corner. Taker lights him up with some big rights and then begins choking Edge on the mat. The action spills to the outside and Taker sends Edge shoulder first into the steel ring post. Taker throws Edge back in the ring, grabs his arm and hits a few shoulder charges standing up. More strikes from Taker in the corner on Edge. Taker grabs Edge by the arm, goes up to the top, looks to connect with the Old School, but Edge trips up Taker and Taker crotches himself on the top rope! Taker screams out in pain as Edge gets in a few rights over Taker. Taker counters sending Edge face first into the ring barricade. On the outside, Taker headbutts Edge. Taker breaks the count rolling in and out of the ring. Edge counters an irish whip and sends Taker into the steel steps. Edge rolls into the ring and Taker gets to his feet. The referee is at 7 when Edge connects with a baseball slide to Taker. Edge brings Taker back in and throws him into the corner. Taker fights back with a few shots, irish whips Edge to the opposite corner, attempts a big boot, but Edge moves and Taker hits the corner with force. Edge with a quick cover, but Taker kicks out. Edge with some stomps on Taker. Both get to their feet, Taker with a few right hands to Edge and a headbutt. Edge trips up Taker with a big kick to the back of the knee. Edge pulls Taker into the corner and slams his knee against the steel ring post. Edge with some big rights to Taker. Edge fires back with a big boot coming off the ropes. Edge falls down to cover Taker and Taker looks to go for the gogoplata. The referee signals he can't use that move and Taker breaks it off. Edge grabs Taker by the arm, looks to try an Old School of his own, but Taker trips up Edge and Edge crotches himself. Both on their feet and are exchanging right hands. Taker with a flying clothesline off the ropes on Edge. Taker with a charge on Edge in the corner, irish whip to the other and another charge. Taker goes for a chokeslam and tosses Edge into the corner. Taker follows that up with a big boot, cover, but Edge kicks out. Taker grabs Edge by the arm, goes up to the top rope, walks it and this time connects with the Old School. Taker then signals for the end. Taker as Edge up on his shoulders thinking snake eyes to the exposed turnbuckle, but Edge jumps off and sends Taker back first into the corner instead. Edge is up on Taker hitting some rights. Edge with a charge, Taker moves, Edge stops himself, Taker lifts Edge up again and this time drops Edge over the exposed turnbuckle with snake eyes. The referee starts the count on both men. Taker is up at 8, Edge is up and levels Taker with a Spear! Cover by Edge, but Taker kicks out after two and the fans cheer loudly. Loud "TAKER" chant starts up as Edge gets in a few rights. Taker fires back with a few rights of his own. Chokeslam attempt, but Edge breaks it up. Another attempt and this time Taker connects with the chokeslam! Taker crawls over, covers...1……………...2……………...Edge gets a shoulder up. Suddenly the lights begin flashing again and the Undertaker holds his head… a voice is heard…”No more hiding……The truth is approaching…..The truth is now… the monster is revealed!”. The lights come back on and Undertaker’s eyes roll back in his head! Undertaker grabs Edge by the throat and begins choking him! The ref tries to pull Undertaker off but he tightens his grip on Edge. Finally the ref tries again and Undertaker turns around and grabs the ref by the throat! Undertaker lifts up the ref and chokeslams him down!! Edge quickly rolls out of the ring in fear! Undertaker holds his head more and then goes to the outside and starts dismantling the announce table! What is happening to Undertaker?? Undertaker walks over and then grabs ring announcer Justin Roberts and decks him in the face!! Undertaker throws Roberts on the announce table and then picks him up and Tombstones him on it!! Security rushes to the scene but Undertaker takes them down!! Suddenly from the entrance way Paul Heyman appears holding the urn and a microphone…
Heyman: Come Undertaker…. The urn calls for you! Ha haha ha!!!
Undertaker follows up the entrance way and reaches the urn…. Heyman smiles and turns around and walks into the back as Undertaker follows…
I cannot believe what we have just seen!! It was Paul Heyman playing the mind games! Paul Heyman has complete control of Undertaker!!! Never the less... the show must go on and its time for the match many have been waiting for a very long time! It's Batista and Lashley!!
World Heavyweight Championship
Batista (c) vs. Bobby Lashley
The bell rings and here we go. Lock up and Batista pushes Lashley to the corner. They continue to break, lock up and break. Lashley with a headlock on Batista and Batista lifts Lashley into the ropes to break it up. Lock up and Lashley goes back to the headlock. Lashley drives Batista down with a quick drop toe hold and backs off. Lashley with a kick to Batista, but Batista fires back sending Lashley down. Lashley stays down crawling back avoiding Batista. When Batista shoots in Lashley grabs Batista and sends him through the ropes to the outside. Lashley catches Batista with an elbow on the outside, tosses him back in the ring and sends him shoulder first into the steel ring post. Lashley goes to work on the left arm of Batista and tries to keep the action grounded. Batista with a clothesline to Lashley in two different corners. Batista with a huge powerslam on Lashley. Batista attempts a Batista Bomb, but Lashley jumps off and grabs Batista dropping him in a big neckbreaker. Lashley drops a knee over the head of Batista, covers and Batista kicks out after two. Lashley locks the head of Batista slowing things down. Batista breaks that up with a big scoop slam. Batista with shoulder charges on Lashley in the corner. Lashley with a kick to the face off the ropes. Lashley hits the ropes again and Batista grabs Lashley launching him over the top rope to the outside. Lashley favors his shoulder after he hits the mat. Batista walks out with Lashley. Lashley slides back in, grabs Batista through the ropes and drops him with a big DDT. Cover by Lashley and Batista is able to kick out after two. Lashley then begins to stomp over Batista in various areas. Lashley drops a big knee over Batista's head then locks in a chinlock as some of the fans start to get behind Batista. Lashley keeps the chinlock applied until Batista backs him up into the corner to break it up. Batista with a big side slam on Lashley . Lashley and Batista exchange right hands. Batista with a clothesline in the corner on Lashley. Batista levels Lashley with another big clothesline as he came off the ropes and then clotheslined Lashley over the top rope to the outside. Batista sends Lashley face first into the ring apron and tosses him back inside. Batista goes up top and Lashley cuts him off with a big right hand. Lashley climbs up, grabs Batista and hits a huge superplex! Lashley with a hook of the leg and Batista gets a shoulder up after two. Batista with a big spinebuster to respond. Batista hooks the leg and Lashley kicks out after two. Batista with a modified spinning side slam on Lashley, covers and Lashley kicks out after two. Batista attempts a Spear but Lashley gets his knee up! Lashley quickly hoists up Batista and nails the Dominator!! The fans rise to their feet! Cover……….1……………….2………………………..No!!! Batista kicks out!!! What a shocker!! Lashley gets Batista up and picks him up for the powerslam but Batista falls out the back door and nails a spinebuster!! Batista sticks Lashley between his legs and picks him up for the Batista Bomb and nails it!!!! Batista can’t get to the cover right away! He finally rolls over on Lashley…….1…………………….2…………………………No!!! Lashley kicks out!! Incredible!! We are back to square one as both men are beginning to stumble to their feet. Lashley hits a right, then Batista, then Lashley, then Batista, then Lashley, and Lashley and Lashley again! Lashley whips Batista into the corner and then runs at him for a spear but Batista dodges it!! Lashley nails the steel ring post!! Batista then grabs him quickly and sticks him between his legs and picks him up!!! Batista Bomb!!!! Batista quickly hooks the leg…….1……………….2……………………3!!!! Batista has retained the title!!! What a match!! Batista reaches his feet and the ref hands him the belt and raises his hand. Batista goes back down to a knee.. he looks as if he has been gut and pored! Lashley then starts to move and uses the ropes to get himself to his feet. Lashley turns around and Batista is standing there with the championship. These men could start brawling one more time! Lashley extends his hand to Batista……. Batista looks at it then looks around and shakes his hand! What a show of sportsmanship tonight! Both men gave it their all and did not disappoint! This is not the last we’ve seen of Lashley! What an attempt by Lashley but tonight belonged to Batista!!
Fireworks go off in the arena as Batista holds up the World Heavyweight Championship… that’s all the time we have for you tonight… Thank you for joining us! Goodnight Everybody!!
