 WWE Great American Bash!!

A video package is shown hyping up tonight’s event… then Boom! Off go the fireworks and we are live with the Great American Bash! Tonight ladies and gentlemen the wait is over! Batista will defend his title against Undertaker and Orton tonight!! Well lets not waste any time and get to the ring with the #1 Contender US Battle Royal match!!

The rules of this match are like a Royal Rumble style… 2 men will start and every minute and new superstar will enter!! Remember the winner will go on later tonight to challenge Bobby Lashley for the United States Championship!

United States Battle Royal
Kidman and Christian start this off! Kidman knocks Christian over toward the corner and attempts to lift him out early but Christian knees him in the race and hits a suplex! Christian locks in a chin lock for but Kidman counters with a back suplex. The countdown begins and here comes Chavo to the ring who joins Christian in taking out Kidman! Chavo and Christian hit some double team maneuvers then Chavo picks Kidman up in a powerbomb position and runs towards the ropes but Kidman hits a hurricanrana and Chavo goes over the ropes! The countdown starts again and here comes Hurricane! Hurricane nails Christian in the back and hits a chokeslam on him. Kidman then goes up top and hits the shooting star press on him! Both men pick up Christian and toss him over the top! The next entrant is John Morrison! Morrison joins in the battles as the newest Smackdown superstar CM Punk makes his ppv debut and the way to the ring! Punk nails Morrison and almost takes him out! Punk nails Hurricane then and nails a izuguri taking Kidman right over the top rope! Morrison then comes after Punk but he drops him over the top! The countdown starts and here comes Scott Hall! Hall comes the ring and Punk takes him down with a kick to the face! Hall falls to the mat and rolls out of the ring. From behind Hurricane takes Punk to throw him out but Punk counters and throws out Hurricane! Hurricane smiles and shakes his head on the outside as here comes Charlie Haas! Haas and Punk go at it in the corner where Haas nails a superplex on him! Haas nails Punk over to the corner as the countdown starts and here comes Finlay! Finlay comes in and breaks things up between Haas and Punk and he nails a belly to belly on Punk! Finlay the takes a bunch of shots at Haas and throws him right over the top rope!! The countdown starts and here comes our final man… Test! Punk gets to his feet but ran over by a Test clothesline! Test then gives Finlay a boot right over the top rope! He looks down at Punk and smiles! He picks up Punk and hits a powerslam then signals for the end! He puts Punk in position for the pumphandle slam and picks him up but Punk slides out the backdoor and picks up the nearly 300 pound Test on his shoulders and hits the GTS! Test is stunned on his feet and Punk clotheslines him right over the top!! Test is gone! Punk wins it!! Punk gets down on his knees and lifts his hands in the air but from behind is Scott Hall! Hall grabs Punk by the hair and tosses him over the top! The ref calls for the bell and its over! I can’t believe it! Hall was never thrown over the top rope! He was playing possum! Hall jumps up and down as the ref raises his hand! Punk looks down from below and shakes his head! He cannot believe what happened! But never the less… later on tonight Scott Hall will challenge Bobby Lashley for the United States Championship!

We go backstage and Randy Orton is standing by…
Josh: Well Randy… tonight could be your night! WrestleMania you fell short and Judgment Day you came within an inch of winning! Now tonight you get another shot!
Orton: Haven’t you seen me over these last few weeks! I have totally destroyed the lives of both Undertaker and Batista! Tonight both of them are going to joke and I will leave with what is rightfully mine!!

Up next it’s David vs. Goliath!

Rey Mysterio vs. “The Great” Khali
The two stare each other down. Mysterio kicks Khali then hurries away. Mysterio goes and kicks Khali again and backs off. Mysterio lands several kicks on Khali before Khali shoves him away. Mysterio gets up and comes right back at Khali only to have Khali take him down with a clothesline. Khali tosses him into the ropes and hits a big boot and Mysterio looks like a rag dog in there! Khali grabs Mysterio by the throat and tosses him into the corner! Khali runs at him but Mysterio moves and Khali gets dumped over the top rope! Rey kicks Khali as he tries to get back in the ring and he falls back to the outside! Rey then jumps off the top rope and hits Khali on the outside! Both men are down!! Mysterio then gets up and climbs back in the ring and the ref gets up to an 8 count before Khali gets in the ring. Khali gets to a knee but Rey runs into the ropes and hits a dropkick to his face and Khali goes back down! Khali then uses the ropes to get up but Mysterio hits the 619 out of nowhere to his gut! Khali then falls face first on the ropes and Mysterio hits another 619! Rey jumps from the apron and drops the dime on Khali! Cover…..1………..2……………No! Khali powers out! Rey runs back into the ropes but this time Khali clotheslines him to the mat! Khali tosses him into the ropes again and nails a boot to the face! Khali grabs Rey with both hands and picks him up then slams him down with the double handed chokeslam! Cover…..1…………2………………..3! And just like that Khali has won it!


Up next it’s JBL’s open challenge!
*JBL’s music hits*
He makes his way to the ring…
JBL: Ok! Here we are at the Great American Bash! So tonight I challenge someone who thinks they are a great American! I don’t care what brand you are from… you want to lose to me tonight… well then come on down!!
*Kevin Nash’s music hits and he makes his way to the ring!*
JBL: Whoa! Not you Kevin! You are a champion! You can’t legally defend that title on a Smackdown show!
Nash: I know… I just wanted the pleasure of beating your ass myself!!

John “Bradshaw” Layfield vs. Kevin Nash
Both men get nose to nose… Nash and JBL locked up with Nash backing Bradshaw to the corner and breaking clean. Another lock up, and JBL with a go behind but Nash elbowed out of it. JBL grabbed a side headlock but Nash knocked him down with a shoulder block. JBL came back with a knee to the gut and then some right hands but Nash came back with a clothesline. JBL rolled outside and Nash followed him but Bradshaw was first in and stomped Nash, but Nash then scored with a side slam for two. Nash went to work with right hands and elbows in the corner. Nash went for a corner charge but ate boot and then JBL unloaded with a shoulder block and some right hands. Nash came back with a back body drop and then a clothesline over the ropes to the outside. Nash sent JBL into the barricade and then tossed him back inside. JBL went to suplex Nash into the ring, but Nash blocked and then JBL hotshotted him over the ropes, sending Nash back to the floor. JBL jumped on Nash off the apron, but Nash caught him and drove him into the apron. Nash hit a knee lift to the head and then tossed Bradshaw back inside. JBL begged off in the corner but Nash went to work with right hands. JBL then got a cheap shot in and threw Nash shoulder first into the ring post. JBL hit a big boot to the face sending him to the outside! JBL stomped Nash on the apron and then pulled him back in but Nash came back with some shots to the gut. Nash unloaded with right hands but JBL caught him in a sleeper hold. Nash tried to reach the ropes but then began to fade. Nash fought out with elbows to the gut and then a back suplex. JBL tossed Nash through the middle rope to the outside and then went out after him. Bradshaw sent him head first into the ring steps and then played to the crowd. JBL sent him into the ring steps again and then gave him some right hands. JBL sent Nash shoulder first into the ring post! JBL tosses him back in the ring and covers him…..1………..2…..No! kick out!! JBL gets him up and runs into the ropes for the clothesline but Nash moves and the ref gets nailed! Nash then knees JBL in the gut and puts him in position for the powerbomb! He picks him up and slams him down! Cover but there is no referee!! Nash looks furious as he shakes the ref who begins to stir… from behind JBL hits a low blow on Nash! Followed by another! JBL runs into the ropes and nails the clothesline from hell on Nash! The ref is there….1………….2……………..No! Nash kicks out!! JBL can’t believe it! He waits for Nash to get to his feet and once he does JBL nails another clothesline!! Cover again..1…………2……………..3!! and JBL wins it! I can’t believe! JBL cheats his way to victory again!

Up next it is Kurt Angle and RVD!

Kurt Angle vs. Rob Van Dam
The two stared each other down from opposite sides of the ring. Angle backed RVD into the ropes after an attempted lock up. Angle with a go-behind before RVD made it to the ropes. Angle took some cheap shot slaps at Van Dam. RVD got a headlock, but had it quickly countered into a mat takedown. Angle, meanwhile, used a couple of European uppercuts to gain a little momentum. RVD came back with forearm shots followed by a monkey flip out of the corner. Angle grabbed a headlock and took Van Dam down to the mat. Van Dam countered with a head scissors, but Angle reversed out of it and grabbed an arm bar. RVD hit his step-over windmill kick and went to the top for high risk offense. Angle recovered quickly enough to push RVD off to the top rope, though. Angle has a rear chinlock on RVD but RVD breaks free only to have it be applied all over again! RVD, battled out of the chinlock with a jawbreaker. Angle hit a belly-to-belly suplex to regain momentum, though. The Olympic Champion followed with a backbreaker for a near fall and then locked in a body scissor. RVD struggled to get out and actually scored a near fall on Angle while still in the body scissor. Angle added a keylock to his body scissor. Van Dam fought back and backed Angle into the turnbuckle. RVD hit a few shoulder thrusts before whipping Angle into the opposite corner. Van Dam tried for a splash, but Angle dodged it and hit a German suplex. Kurt then locked in a modified camel clutch. RVD battled back with elbows to the gut and right handed shots. Van Dam proceeded to hit a double leg lariat. The two traded forearms and uppercuts, but Van Dam hit a springboard back kick to stimulate his comeback. However, Angle picked up Van Dam and drove him to the corner. RVD tried to hit his patented kick out of the corner move, but Angle countered and hit a cradle suplex. Angle tried for the Angle Slam, but RVD countered into a roll-up….1…………2………..No! So close! Angle then went for an ankle lock but RVD kicks him off! RVD tried to get in some offense, but Angle hit a German suplex that sent RVD end over end. Angle eventually tried to capitalize, but RVD hit a pressing kick. RVD tried to follow with a top rope side kick, but Angle countered and caught him in the ankle lock as he came down. RVD reaches out but can’t get there! RVD rolled forward and sent Angle out of the ring. RVD then connected with a slingshot leg drop. A near fall followed, but then Angle scored one of his own with small package. RVD got back in it quick with a roundhouse kick, but Angle countered Rolling Thunder into the ankle lock. RVD kicked his way out of it and hit the Split-Legged moonsault! 1……..2……………….No!!! Kick out! Van Dam stayed on it when he countered Kurt Angle’s counter to the enziguiri and hit a back kick. RVD went to the top for the 5-star, but Angle ran up the ropes like ring steps and hit an Angle Slam off the top! Cover………1……………..2…………………3! And Angle wins it!! What a battle these men put up! Angle gets to his feet and wipes the sweat off his forehead and throws it on RVD! What a lack of respect but never the less… tonight belonged to Angle!

We go backstage and Batista is standing by…
Josh: Batista… in just a few minutes you will defend your championship against 2 of the biggest stars here in the wwe… what are your thoughts…?
Batista: You know many people have been talking… they’ve been saying if Batista is going to lose his title he will lose it tonight. They think tonight is my final night at champion. Well I’m here to prove everyone wrong! I’ve kept this title through so many obstacles already and I’m not about to give it up! Now I know last year when I defended this title in a triple threat I lost… but I’ve moved on from that and I’m gonna start a new streak! So Orton… Undertaker… you men are first on my list!

Up next it’s Booker T and Big Show!

Booker T vs. Big Show
Booker T went to work on Big Show in the corner with some right hands and clubs to the neck but Show fought back with a clothesline to knock Booker T down and then gave him a powerslam and then picked him up and threw him out to the floor. Big Show went to work on Booker on the outside of the ring and whipped him into the ring steps and threw him back into the ring, but as Show was about to re-enter, Booker hit him with a baseball slide and then sling shotted himself over the top rope onto Big Show. Booker T then went upto the top rope and came off with a missile dropkick to knock Show down and Booker got a near fall. Big Show then locked in a back breaker on Booker T and then locked in a modified version of the bow and arrow hold, and Booker was in a lot of pain. Big Show then started choking Booker T on the ropes and then draped him across the middle rope and ran at him and squashed Booker T as Big Show jumped through the middle ropes. Show then locked in a chin lock on Booker T in the middle of the ring. Big Show caught Booker T in a bear hug, again working on the back of Booker T as the referee kept asking Booker if he would like to give up, but Booker fought out of the hold with some shots to the face and then ran at Big Show, but Show knocked him down with a clothesline. Show then went for a leg drop but Booker T moved, he then hit a bicycle kick on Big Show and a heel kick, but it was not enough to knock the big man down. Booker ran at Show and hit him with a couple of clotheslines but he still couldn’t take Show off his feet, he then hit the Scissors Kick to knock him down and covered him….1………..2………No!! Big Show gets up and Booker puts him in postion and nails a Bookend on the 500 pound giant! Cover……1……………..2…………….3! Yes! Booker T wins it!!! Booker T has done it!!

Coming up next folks is the United States Championship match! A championship based off pride and 2 warriors will go at it!

United States Championship
Bobby Lashley (c) vs. Scott Hall

Lashley stared down Hall before they locked up. Hall hit a thumb to the eye and sent Lashley head first to the corner. Lashley came back with right hands and kicks on Hall in the corner. Lashley hit some shoulders to the mid section and then sent him to the corner and charged in but Hall got his boot up. Hall sent Lashley down but Lashley came back and knocked Hall down with a shoulder block. Lashley hit some knees to the mid section and then Lashley hit a back body drop on Hall and then an elbow drop. Lashley hit his up and under back drop and then Hall bailed to the outside. Lashley went after Hall and Lashley blocked Hall trying to send him into the ring steps, and sent Hall into the steps himself. Lashley hit a belly to belly on the outside and then sent Hall back inside for two. Lashley went for a suplex and had trouble getting him over but did so with raw power. Hall came back sending Lashley through the ropes to the outside. Lashley got on the apron but Hall hit a boot sending him to the floor. Hall slammed Lashley face first into the ring steps! Hall sent Lashley into the ring steps again and then got back into the ring to break the count. Hall sent Lashley back inside, and then hit an elbow drop off the top rope for two. Hall clubbed at the back of Lashley and then kicked away at him in the corner. Hall sent Lashley back inside, and then hit the fallaway slam! Cover….1……..2…….No! Hall clubbed at the back of Lashley and then kicked away at him in the corner. Hall nailed a swinging neckbreaker. The fans chanted “Let’s go Lashley!” as Hall went to work with a series of elbow drops and then covered for two. Lashley came back with a right hand, and they traded shots but then Hall grabbed a sleeper. Lashley backed Hall into the corner but Hall kept a hold of the sleeper. Lashley faded and dropped down to the canvas and then rolled into a cover for two. Hall kicked Lashley in the head and is in full control here. Hall taunted the crowd and then headed up top! Hall dived off but Lashley caught him with a powerslam in mid air! Lashley nailed a right hand to drop Hall, and then knocked him down with a series of clotheslines. Lashley hit a belly to belly overhead throw and then another. Lashley nailed a third belly to belly, and now a fourth! Hall is busted open and Lashley calls for the dominator! Lashley picks up Hall but Hall’s feet kick the ref who is blinded! Hall slides out and hits a low blow on Lashley! Hall puts him between his legs and hoists the big man up and nails the Outsider Edge! Hall hits the cover the ref finally regains sight……..1………………..2……………………..3!! We have a new champion!! Scott Hall has won the United States Championship!! Hall grabs the title and kisses it and holds it up high! Hall went the battle royal with controversy and has become the new US Champ with controversy but never the less Scott Hall has defeated Lashley here tonight!

Well the time is now! The World Heavyweight Championship is on the line as 3 of the biggest superstars in this business go at it!!

World Heavyweight Championship – Triple Threat
Batista (c) vs. Undertaker vs. Randy Orton
The bell rings and Taker goes for Orton first who escapes out of the ring. Batista and Taker lock up and Batista shoves Taker outside of the ring. Batiste drops out of the ring and catches Orton who tries to escape back inside of the ring. Batista and Taker push each other off of Orton who eventually escapes. Taker in the ring and Orton attacks him with punches. Orton to the ropes and he drops to the outside again. Batista back in again and goes after Taker with punches. Taker gets clotheslined outside next to Orton. Taker slaps a choke on Orton but Batista dropkicks Orton out of the choke. Back inside goes Batista who is laying face up, with his head protruding under the bottom rope, hanging over the apron. Taker drops a big legdrop on the apron onto Batista. Orton sends Batista inside and tries to pin him quickly but only gets two. Orton rams Taker off the apron, then turns around and gets sidewalk slammed by Batista and a two count for Batista. Orton calls for an RKO on Batista, but kicked him in the face and knocked Orton cold. He then powerslams Orton down and gets a two count thanks to Taker yanking Batista outside of the ring. Taker sends Batista back in after a few blows. Taker now sets up Orton so that he’s half hanging of the ring apron, and he goes to deliver a legdrop but Batista explodes with a clothesline of Taker before he can connect. Batista and Orton now in the ring. Batista goes for the Batista Bomb, Orton hits a low blow then the RKO! Orton goes for over to cover but looks terrified as Taker gets into the ring now. Orton avoids the cover and delivers a punch but it doesn’t phase The Phenom. Taker whips Orton to the corner and gets clothslined. Taker hits Snake Eyes on Orton, followed by a big boot, and a two count for Taker. Taker hits Old School on Orton. He sets up The Last Ride, but Batista Spears Taker while he had Orton up for the Powerbomb. Batista sends Orton out of the ring, Batista goes for a pin but Taker applies a Triangle Choke on Batista. Batista reaches around the ring but but can’t quite get to the ropes! Batista then gets an adrenaline rush and lifts up Taker from the mat and slams him down with the Batista Bomb! Cover……..1……………….2…………No! Taker gets his foot on the bottom rope! Both men make it up to there feet at the same time and Taker nails a chokeslam out of nowhere! Cover…1……………..2…………………..No! Batista kicks out!! Batista is not ready to lose his title! Taker goes for Old School on Batista, and leaps. Batista catches him and hits a Spine Buster as a reversal. He calls for the Batista Bomb. Orton then runs into the ring with a steel chair and nails Batista in the back with it! Batista goes down! Undertaker then begins to make it to his feet and once he does Orton blasts him right between the eyes! Orton then puts the chair square in the ring and picks up Taker. Orton puts his head in position and nails an RKO right on the steel chair! Orton gets to his feet and raises his hands! He has to make the cover! Orton turns around and Batista spears him right over Undertaker! Batista though lands right on Undertaker as Orton rolls out of the ring… the ref sees and makes the count…..1………………..2…………………………..3!! Batista retains the title!! Batista wins it I can’t believe it! Batista basically picked up where Orton left off… sadly Orton left off right before the win! Batista gets to his feet and is handed his championship belt in which he kisses and embraces! Orton is on the outside and realizes what just happened and is totally livid! What a night ladies and gentlemen we will see you Friday on Smackdown!
