A video package is shown of what we expect to see tonight.. then BOOM! Off goes the fireworks and we are live on Pay-Per-View for No Way Out! Tonight ladies and gentlemen everything we have been talking about for weeks comes to a head! A 5 Man title challenge awaits us along with the long awaited battle between Angle and Batista! It's all here! It's all tonight! Let's kick things off with the tag titles on the line!
WWE Tag Team Championship
Kidman and Rey Mysterio (c) vs. Charlie Haas and Shelton Benjamin
The bell rings and Shelton Benjamin and Rey Mysterio are the men to start it off. Benjamin quickly goes to work on the left leg of Mysterio. Benjamin looks pumped, as he stalks Mysterio. Rey’s enthusiasm is huge as always and connects with a right hand and a pair of leg scissors. Kidman is tagged in and a double team maneuver is issued on Benjamin. Kidman connects a shot to the mid-section and a pair of leg scissors of his own. Benjamin, worn down, tags in Charlie Haas who comes in with a head lock on Kidman. Billy counters with a cross-body, but Haas jams Kidman’s face into the middle rope. Kidman counters and tags Rey in. A springboard from Mysterio, into a two count. Haas counters and slams Mysterio into the turnbuckles. He connects a huge slam, barley beating Mysterio’s counter and gets a two count. Benjamin is tagged in to throw Mysterio up high into the mat. Benjamin gets a two count and applies a rear chinlock. The crowd cheers on Rey, lead by Billy Kidman. Mysterio starts to battle out of the hold with elbows and other counters. Quick momentum leads a full flesh counter by Rey into a tag to Kidman. Haas is in via the tag from Benjamin. Kidman looks to have the advantage and gets a two count. However, Kidman gets caught in a double team with the World’s Greatest Tag Team. Mysterio pulls Benjamin out and goes to the inside to attempt 619, he is unsuccessful but connects with a high risk maneuver on Benjamin. Kidman hits a Shooting Star Press off the top rope onto the outside on Haas. He rolls Haas back in and gets a two count. Kidman is attacked by Benjamin on the outside and is thrown into the steel ring post. Benjamin is tagged in and goes for the cover, but Mysterio is in for the save. Benjamin hooks a submission hold on Kidman, bending him like a pretzel. Kidman tries to get to Rey, but Benjamin won’t let him move. Haas is tagged in to further the assault on Kidman. The crowd is behind Kidman, but it is not effective as he is tossed into the turnbuckles by Haas followed by a kick. Kidman counters by throwing Haas to the outside. Kidman crawls for Mysterio. He needs to make a tag and he gets it. But the referee does not see it as Benjamin was distracting him. Haas comes back in and as Rey argues with the referee a double supplex is applied. Benjamin is now in and connects a hard powerbomb on Billy Kidman. He continues to work on his back as he gets another pinfall. Benjamin goes for a second powerbomb but Kidman counters. Kidman starts to crawl to the wrong corner but gets the tag. Rey goes in and connects a baseball slide. Haas comes in and Rey throws him out. Rey goes off the second rope into a springboard twisted into a flip. Mysterio gets the cover, but only gets a two count. Haas gets back in after being tagged, he attacks Mysterio but Kidman helps out. Rey connects with 619 and gets the pinfall. Benjamin comes in, makes the save and takes care of Kidman. Mysterio is shaken up but is only pinned for two. Haas goes for a slam but Mysterio counters. Benjamin and Kidman are back in the ring. Rey connects a hurricanrana from the top on Haas! Cover….1…………….2…………………No!! 2 count. Benjamin comes in and throws Kidman out of the ring! Haas then comes from behind and picks up Rey in a powerbomb position and Benjamin goes up to and dives off and nails a clothesline to Rey into a powerbomb!! Incredible double team!! Haas hits the cover………1………………..2…………………..3!! We got new tag team champions!!!! Haas and Benjamin jump up and down in celebration over there newly won titles! It looks like things are about to change on Friday Night Smackdown!
We go backstage and Kurt Angle is standing by!
Matthews: Well Angle tonight you put the title on the line against Batista! Your thoughts?
Angle: Here are my thoughts exactly... I am the greatest World Champion in this business and tonight there is no way I am dropping this belt! I guarantee I will go to WrestleMania! Don’t believe me? Well then you must have forgotten about my problem solver!
*Great Khali walks in on the scene*
Angle: That’s right... if something is not in my favor tonight Khali is on it! So I hate to spoiler the night for everyone but the deal is this... I am walking out of here and into to WrestleMania the World Heavyweight Champion!
Up next the US title is on the line!!
United States Championship
Bobby Lashley (c) vs. Booker T
Lock up and Booker got Lashley in the corner and went for a right but Lashley blocked and hit some right hands. Lashley sent Booker to the corner and hit a huge clothesline and then a nice suplex for two. Lashley hit a hard clothesline and covered for another two count. Lashley worked the arm of Booker and then locked in an arm bar. Booker came back with a chop and went for a suplex but Lashley blocked and took Booker down and covered for two. Booker nailed a right hand and then a knee to the head and then some right hands in the corner. Lashley came back with a clothesline out of the corner and then nailed a double leg and rammed Booker to the corner, but missed a splash and hit the ring post, shoulder first. Booker stomped away at him in the corner. Lashley got to his feet and Book hit a spin kick to the back of the head for a two count. Booker locked in an arm bar on Lashley but Lashley fought out and ran into a kick to the mid section. Booker went for the Scissors Kick but Lashley nailed a huge clothesline. Lashley hit some forearms and then a clothesline. Lashley hit an atomic drop and then went for a clothesine but Booker ducked and went for the Book End but Lashley countered into a belly to belly suplex. Lashley set up for the spear but Booker hit a superkick. Lashley got to his feet and Booker is there and delivers a Bookend!! Cover!...1……….2………………….No! Lashley kicks out! Booker is in shock and picks up him up but Lashley fires back! Lashley hit a running clothesline in the corner but then ran into a heel kick to the jaw. Booker kicked him in the gut and went for the scissor kick but nobody is home! Lashley then picks up Booker and nails a running powerslam!! Cover…1…………….2…………………3!!! Lashley wins it! Lashley retains the US title! Lashley raises his title high in the air and Booker T gets up and shakes his hand! What a match!

Brock Lesnar vs. Kevin Nash
Lesnar ran right into a big boot by Nash at the bell, and the champion followed with some elbowdrops. Nash whipped Lesnar across the ring, but ran into a Lesnar elbow. Nash ducked a chokeslam, but Lesnar elbowed out of it. Nash hit a clothesline then hit another clothesline. Nash hit two more headbutts, but Lesnar reversed a whip and hit a powerslam, almost losing the handle. Lesnar knocked Nash to the floor. Lesnar went to ram Nash into the ringsteps, but Nash blocked it and rammed Lesnar into the steps. Nash hit some kicks and punches on the outside. Nash rammed Lesnar into the steps again. Lesnar fired back with punches, but Nash blocked and nailed a right hand. Nash placed Lesnar on the ring apron and kicked him in the head. Nash went to whip Lesnar into the ring steps, but Lesnar reversed it and sent Nash knees first into the steps. Lesnar rolled Nash back into the ring. Lesnar started climbing the ropes, but Nash hit him with two punches. Nash set up for a superplex, but Lesnar threw some punches. Nash responded with headbutts, then took Lesnar down with the superplex. Both men are down but then reach their feet. Lesnar was favoring his leg greatly. They traded punches, and Lesnar ducked a shot and hit a clothesline then Lesnar hit another clothesline. Lesnar slammed Nash, then hit a leg drop.. Nash grabbed Lesnar by the trunks and pulled him through the ropes and to the floor. Nash pulled the top off of the Smackdown announce table and removed the monitors. Nash went for Lesnar, but Lesnar whipped him into the security wall. Lesnar went to slam Nash on the table, but Nash blocked it and gave Lesnar a backbreaker on the floor. Nash grabbed a section of ring steps and hit Lesnar in the head with them. Lesnar was busted open, but still managed to get back to his feet. Nash hit a series of punches, then stuck Lesnar between his legs and powerbombed him straight through the announce table! Nash then went down to a knee and caught his breath then got Lesnar up and tossed him back to the ring. Nash then covered Lesnar in the ring......1................2.............No! Lesnar kicked out! Nash wasted too much time getting him back in the ring! Nash hit Snake-Eyes, then went for a boot to the face, but Lesnar got a burst of adrenaline and hit him with a spinebuster. Nash then started to get up but Lesnar hit yet another spinebuster and covered him...1............2...................No! Nash kicks out! Lesnar then raises to the outside and grabs a chair and heads back in the ring. Nash gets to his feet and swings the chair at Nash but Nash moves and knees Lesnar in the gut! Nash sticks Lesnar between his legs and picks him up for the jackknife but Lesnar unloads with a series of rights in mid air and Nash collapses! Lesnar then grabs the chair and cracks Nash right over the head with it!!! Lesnar is bloody and battered but quickly picks Nash up and hoists him on his shoulders and nails the F5!! Cover.......1...................2...........................3!!! Lesnar wins it! Lesnar wins this bloody war!!! What a battle!
We go backstage again... this time with Shawn Michaels!
Todd: Well Shawn Michaels tonight you go head to head with the Game!
Michaels: That is right Todd! Hunter thinks he can hunt me down and take away my shot at Mania... well that ain’t gonna happen! Tonight Shawn Michaels will prove why he deserves to be in the main event and he will kick the chops off the Triple H!
Well up next we find out who goes to WrestleMania to get a shot at the World title!!
#1 Contender Match for the World Title
Undertaker vs. Randy Orton
Taker stalked Orton and Orton slid to the outside for a rethink. They locked up and Taker shoved Orton to the mat, and then Orton walked right into a slap from Taker. Orton tried to avoid Taker’s punches and then grabbed a side headlock but Taker whipped him to the ropes and knocked him down with a shoulderblock for two. Taker then locked in a side headlock of his own and Orton grabbed the hair and tossed him to the ropes but Taker came back with another shoulderblock. Orton scored with a hip toss and then a clothesline but then Taker levelled him with a big boot for two. Taker locked in a key lock on Orton and then worked over the shoulder of Orton. Taker then went for Old School but Orton then armdragged him off the top rope for two. Orton gave Taker some uppercuts and right hands in the corner but then Taker grabbed him by the throat and tossed him to the corner and hit some huge right hands of his own. Taker whipped Orton to the corner and charged in but Orton got his boot up. Orton then charged at Taker but got hit with a big boot to the face for two. Taker hammered the back of Orton and then hit a flying clothesline for another two count. Taker hit some big right hands in the corner and then scared the referee away. Taker charged in with a knee to the gut in the corner before continuing his beatdown with more right hands and elbows. Taker whipped Orton to the other corner and charged in but Orton moved and Taker went crashing into the corner leg first. Orton kicked at the hanmstring but Taker knocked him down with a back elbow, and then Orton snapped off a nice DDT for two when Taker got his foot on the ropes. Orton then jumped up and down on the leg of the Deadman and then went outside and whacked it into the apron. Orton snapped Taker’s leg around the ring post and then got back inside and Taker is having trouble getting to his feet. Orton stomped the knee and then kicked at the hamstring some more before driving his elbow into it. Orton gave Taker a knee drop for a two and then Taker came back with right hands to the mid section but then Orton kicked him right in the face for two. Orton worked over Taker’s leg in the corner wrapping it around the ropes but Taker came back with elbows and right hands. Orton came back with a big powerslam for a near fall and then leg laced the leg in the middle of the ring, putting more pressure on the knee of the Deadman. Taker reversed and drove the knee of Orton into the mat. Orton went for the RKO but Taker tossed him away and then went for the Tombstone but Orton countered and went for his own Tombstone and they kept reversing and then Orton hit his modified neckbreaker on the Deadman for two. Orton hammered at the chest of Taker and then went up top and hit a flying crossbody but Taker rolled through and grabbed Orton by the throat and went for a chokeslam but Orton reversed it in mid air and nailed an RKO! What a counter! Cover…1……………….2…………………..3!!! It’s over!! It’s over! Orton wins it! What an upset! Orton is going to WrestleMania! Orton’s face looks completely shocked but never the less he is going to WrestleMania to battle for the World Heavyweight Championship!
Incredible... well that just shows as that anything can happen... and speaking of that up next its Triple H and Michaels!!!
Triple H vs. Shawn Michaels
Michaels and Triple H locked it up and Triple H backed Michaels to the corner and the two traded right hands, with Michaels knocking HHH down. Michaels continued to hammer away on the game, using the ropes to hold himself up. Triple H escaped to the outside to regroup. They locked up again with Michaels locking in a side headlock and he then chopped HHH down to the mat. Triple H came back and hammered the left leg of Michaels which sent Michaels down. Triple H then stomped away on the leg of Michaels. Triple H continued to stomp away at Michaels, and then hammered away at him with right hands on the canvas. Michaels tried to fight back with kicks from his good left, but Triple H went right back to the left knee, taking Shawn down. Triple H then dropped some elbows to the leg of Michaels as the referee asked if he could continue. Triple H locked in a leg lock on Michaels on the mat and Michaels is visibly in pain. Triple H then drove his elbow into the knee of Michaels repeatedly. Triple H locked in the Figure Four Leglock on Michaels. Michaels pleaded with the referee not to ring the bell as Michaels yelled in pain. Michaels tried to reach the ropes and he then tried to flip Trips over and he can’t find a way out of this Figure Four! Michaels finally made it to the ropes to break the hold! Triple H pulled Michaels to the corner and went to whack his leg into the ring post, but Michaels pulled him forward, sending Triple H head first into the ring post! Michaels somehow got to his feet and chopped Triple H, but the Cerebral Assassin went right back to his knee. Michaels fought back, sending Triple H into the corner, and his head hit the ring post again. Michaels scored with an inverted atomic drop, three times. Michaels scored with a clothesline, and he is not moving well at all. Michaels hit some right hands and then a big right to take Hunter down. Michaels made the cover but Trips kicked up at two. Trips fought back and went for a Pedigree, but Michaels hit a low blow and the referee had his back turned! HBK hit a DDT on the Game and he has a chance here! Michaels crawled to the ring apron and then slowly climbed the ropes. Michaels then came off the ropes with the elbow and he is in tons of pain after that one! Michaels got the crowd hyped, and it looks like he is set to hit some Sweet Chin Music! Michaels bands the foot up and down and goes for it but Triple H catches his foot and kicks him for the Pedigree but Michaels counters and rolls him up in a jackknife! 1......2..................3!!! Yes! Shawn Michaels wins it!!! Shawn Michaels has survived and will still be at WrestleMania! Shawn Michaels stands and gets his hand raised but suddenly goes down! Triple H is standing behind him with the sledgehammer! Triple H nails Michaels again with it in the back! What is Triple H doing?? The match is over! Triple H gets Shawn to his feet then runs him down with another sledgehammer shot! Triple H then goes to the outside and grabs and steel chair and tosses it in the ring and gets Michaels up and nails the pedigree right on the chair!!! Triple H gets up and roars to the crowd… and now we know exactly what Triple H was doing… making sure Shawn does not make it to WrestleMania! EMTs come out and pick Michaels and a stretcher and as it looks now Triple H will be going to WrestleMania.
Well folks... there is not much to say but we hope Shawn Michaels will be ok after the night is over with... as for now the talk is over... World title is on the line next!
Batista comes out to a huge ovation followed by the champ Kurt Angle escorted by the Great Khali!
World Heavyweight Championship
Kurt Angle (c) vs. Batista
Angle and Batista stared each other down. The two locked up and Batista backed Angle into the corner and the referee got between them to get the clean break. The two locked up again and Angle wrenched on the arm of Batista and then locked in a side headlock and the two exchanged some chain wrestling which resulted in Angle taking Batista down to the mat. Batista and Angle shoved each other and then Batista knocked Angle down with a shoulder block. They again locked up and Batista locked in a side headlock and Angle whipped him to the ropes and then delivered a hip toss and went for the Ankle Lock but Batista escaped! Both men went to the outside and Batista got the upper hand for a minute only to be thrown into the barricade by Angle seconds later! Batista then fired back more and got the upper hand and hit a spinebuster right on the floor!! Back in the ring Batista gave Angle and then delivered a backbreaker! Batista whipped Angle in the corner and charged but Angle moved then fired away at Batista in the corner! Angle nailed him with a German Suplex and then took Batista down by the legs and capapulted him to the corner and then clotheslined him to the outside of the ring. Angle went outside gave Batista thumb to the eye and whipped Batista into the steel steps as Khali watched on. Angle threw Batista back inside. Angle then went to the top rope with frustration and went for the a moonsault but Batista moved out of the way! Both men are down on the mat! Once they reached their feet Angle went to work on Batista with chops but Batista sent him sturnum first into the buckle with high velocity. Batista sent Angle sturnum first into the other buckle, and Angle looks to be in severe pain and the impact on that move! Batista then speared down Angle and went for the cover...1...........2.........No! Angle kicks out! Batista looked to go for a vertical suplex but Angle began to fight back but Batista! Angle locked in a sleeper hold on Batista as Batista tried to make it to the ropes, but Angle pulled him back inside. Batista escaped and locked in a sleeper of his own but Angle dropped down and locked in the Ankle lock in the middle of the ring! Batista writhed in pain but clawed his way to the ropes, but Angle dragged him back to the middle of the ring! Batista again clawed his way toward the ropes and then was able to kick Angle off! But the referee got knocked in the meantime and immediately Khali jumped onto the apron! And distracted Batista! Batista turns around and Angle is there and nails the Angle Slam! Cover...The ref crawls over....1..................2...................No! Batista kicks out!! Khali then stomps on the ref and Angle goes to the outside! Khali then grabs Batista by the throat and chucks him in the corner and gives him slaps to the chest! Khali then runs at him but Batista moves out of the way and begins to battle Khali over towards the ropes! Angle then runs in the ring with the World title belt and runs at Batista with it but Batista dodges it and Angle nails Khali!! Khali goes flying over the top rope to the floor! Angle turns around and gets kicked in the gut and Batista hoists him up in the air and drives him to the mat with the Batista Bomb! Cover... the ref slowly crawls over.......1...............................2....................................................3!!!! We have a new Champion!! Batista wins it!!! Oh my! I can’t believe it! He has overcome the odds! Batista reaches his feet and the ref hands him the World title belt... Batista lifts it high in the air and poses to the entire crowd! What an upset by Batista he overcame every obstacle and is now the Heavyweight Champion of the World!
Wow! Well thats a 2nd title change tonight! Will a 3rd change hands?? Up next 5 man battle for the WWE title!
WWE Championship - 5 Man Challenge
John Cena (c) vs. Kane vs. Edge vs. Chris Jericho vs. Carlito
The bell rings and four men are in the ring as Edge retreats out. Kane hits a big back body drop on Jericho and then Cena bulldogs him. Carlito then clotheslines Orton over the top rope and he goes with him. Kane and Cena face off in the middle of the ring until Edge rushes in and clocks Cena out of the ring. Edge takes the fight to Kane. Kane now has all four opponents outside the ring bunched up. Kane goes rope to rope and flies off onto all of the men on the outside. Kane in the ring with Edge now. He ducks a clothesline and picks up Edge over his shoulders and slams him down with a powerslam and a two count! Outside the ring Jericho clotheslines Carltio and then Edge suddenly attacks Jericho. They exchange blows on the outside. Edge takes Jericho up on to the announce table and goes for the Edgecution but Jericho counters and locks in the walls of jericho on the announce table! Carlito then grabs a chair and wacks Jericho right over the head with it! Carlito runs into the ring hits an inverted backbreaker on Kane and stalks him for the back cracker. He goes for it and Kane holds on to the ropes and Carlito goes splat on the mat. Kane then picks up Carlito and runs him into the ropes for a big boot to the face! Kane then calls for the chokeslam but Cena runs in and hits an FU on Kane right in the center of the ring! Suddenly Edge runs in and spears down Cena and makes the cover but Jericho breaks things up! Cena up now and he elbows Jericho then clotheslines Edge, and a shoulderblock to Edge. Cena then hits a one armed tilt powerbomb. And calls for the 5 Knuckle Shuffle! But from behind Carlito nails the back cracker!!! Cover.....1...............2...........No!! Kane makes a save! Kane interrupts the count and now starts pummling Carlito in the corner! Kane turns around and Edge runs at him but Kane boots him straight to the mat! Jericho then turns around and Kane slaps the hand around him and nails the chokeslam! Cover.....1..............2.................No! Cena breaks up the count! Kane looks furious and slaps the hand around Cena and gives him a chokeslam! Edge then spears Kane to the mat only to get nailed by Carlito out of the ring! Carlito turns around and Jericho swipes his legs from under him and locks in the walls of Jericho!! Carlito rives in pain and tries to reach for the ropes but he can't get to it!! Carlito reaches out once again but Jericho pulls him back to the center! We are going to have a new champ!! Jericho then sees Cena get to his feet so runs over to him but gets picked up in the air by Cena and slammed down with the FU!!!! Cover..........1...........2..............................3!!!! It's over! Cena retains the title!!! Cena again has overcome it all!!! Look at the bodies laying everywhere! Cena reaches his feet and is handed back his championship! Cena receives a mixed reaction from the crowd as he holds up his title but none the less.. Cena is still the champ and Cena will be going into WrestleMania as the WWE Champion!!
That's all the time we have tonight! Cena is still the champ!!! See you on Raw!!!
